Mulder.. 15:53 - Nov 24 with 4350 views | icecoldjack | ..made that mistake because he feels he needed to prove to potter he can pass like nordfelt, creating doubt in his own ability. Poor man management from potter, resulting in a keeper who starts to do unnatural things with tragic results. I actually think we can still get something from this game. C'mon the Swans !

Nah, never a reason to play that ball unless the thinking us cloudy , Mulder is a good percentage keeper, knows when to pass it and when to kick IMO potter has created a bit of doubt where there wasn't before .

I take it back a step further. Ever remember Dobbie being in that position? Michu? Gylfi? Where the feck have Fulton and Fer been all half? Really poor from them so far. Far too much space between our CBs and midfield. It seems Potter agrees too.

Fer is going backwards, maybe he's got a move in January perhaps ? Hasn't looked like a captain at all lately. Norwich are a good team but this should be much tighter, giving them a 2 goal head start ain't very smart at all .

Only Fulton and Fer were poor You could add another three players to that list Now Potter has brought on a look alike Akinfenwa How can a professional footballer let himself get to that state

It's been one of our worst performances this season but Norwich have been clinical where we have been our usual wasteful selves. As for Bony, he has no touch,no pace, can't jump, cant hold it up and looks a shadow of what he once was, sad to see actually.

Yes you are right that Norwich have been clinical but also generally played some very good football Left Swansea, other 10 minutes in the first half and then about 5 minutes in the second half chasing shadows Norwich’s short game with the inter-passing they are playing is the best I have seen from a Championship side all season Now as for Bony. If Swansea think they can shift him on in the January window, they must be deluded He will say until the end of June, collect his £80k per week from plus his £30k per week he gets from Manchester City and then be given a frss | | | | Login to get fewer ads

If Celina is on the edge of our own area with two Norwich players within 10-15 yards of hm it's probably not the best idea to give him the opportunity to do tricks. That was all down to Mulder.

Plan B needs to come into play when that happens, which will be more often now, as other teams will have noted this. Am sure potter will regroup the players and teach them how to change things.

And when we did decide to kick it long it was aimed at OMB who didn't have a white shirt within 30 yards of him.

Nope. He was readying to kick when Celina got a shout from Potter. Celina then wasn't ready. Definitely down to the touchline. After that almost all his clearances were long. [Post edited 25 Nov 2018 9:58]

Well they should be ready. They know this is the way GP wants them to play. They should be drilled on what they need to be doing. They shouldn't need |GP to shout from the touchline in the middle of the game. Not having a go at Badlands here, just quoted to make the first point and continuing here making a point about management. If the players don't do what the manager says then they are to blame for their mistakes. If GP had to shout on the field to tell them not to do what they were going to do, it's the players fault, not the manager. They should know how he wants them to take goal kicks and play it out from the back. If Mulder carries on like that, we will have Nordfeldt back in, as he is quite clearly much more comfortable with the ball at his feet. Now I would much prefer Mulder in the nets, but he needs to start doing what he is told to do. If he can't do that, then it'll be good night fukin Eireen.

Mulder.. on 10:58 - Nov 25 with 3183 views | jasper_T | Playing short only works if the opposition thinks you might play long. When they know what we want to do it's simple to press high and force mistakes. With so many teams wanting to play out now it's become routine to defend it. Splitting the centre halves and having a midfielder drop short is something everyone is prepared for. Not the first time we've struggled with it. One game vdH visibly gave the order to give it up as it clearly wasn't working, and that was with Nordfeldt in goal, so it's not a goalkeeper issue.

So they need time to learn when and when not to do it. I much prefer Mulder, but his football yesterday was terrible. Seems to me there may be a choice to make for GP. Play from the back with Kris. Or have a safer pair of hands and abandon your tactics. Only one way that's going to go...Mulder needs to get to work in training and make sure he's last to fuking leave Fairwood every day. Otherwise we gonna be stuck with Nordfeldt in goal and that wouldn't be my choice, which I know many agree with.

Mulder.. on 15:07 - Nov 25 with 3049 views | oldcob | Generally we play too much toward and in front of our own penalty area. We seem to be looking for the 22 pass goal all the time. In reality it happens once or twice a season. Norwich were clearing their lines when required, going from back to front in 3 or 4 passes, and they don't play hoof ball. Just because a team is direct doesn't mean they are not a footballing side. At the moment we are going to Glasgow to get to Loughor. After their first goal yesterday we kicked off and 20 seconds later we were struggling to get out of trouble by our own corner flag without a Norwich player touching the ball.

So you must know the tactics that Potter wants to play then, to suggest that Mulder should not start play from the back As you say, there weren't any Norwich players within 10-15 yards of Celina That is 30-40 feet away So you must be suggesting that if any opposing players are within that distance from Swansea players in the future, then hoof it upfield How sad that anyone could think that is the way to play football
Mulder.. on 00:06 - Nov 26 with 2800 views | PozuelosSideys | I think the idea there was the short pass to Celina who was meant to pass it straight back to Mulder to chip back out over the pressing attackers who had left a hole. Celina had a brain fart moment. Nothing much else to see there. It happens. Bet it doesnt happen again though.
