Wells, Eze, Freeman constant threats. Cameron patrolling in front of the back 4 really well. Lovely stuff. Needed to sort out some of the communication between Lumley and the 2 CBs a couple of times but all very controlled. Millwall are so far a shadow of last year's selves, hope it stays that way. |  | | |

We've played really well first half. Defend sensibly and properly second half and there will be good opportunities to catch them on the break as they have to come forward and they don't look too clever defensively when we keep it on the deck. |  | | |

Interesting on Cameron, given the "no heading" rumour and his ability to pass it seems pretty smart to use him in that role, leaving the more limited Leistner, Lynch (or Baptiste) to do the aerial stuff. That way he shores up the central defence but not quite in the way we expected.
I'm still a bit worried that some of our established young players seem to be dropping out of favour without playing badly but if it works it works and if McClaren can get good performances out of Cousins etc then good on him. | | | |
