I was hit by a car once (I instinctively jumped, so went over the top of it and landed about 20 feet away).
I staggered about, little control over my arms and legs, with no idea what was going on, not knowing what way was up or down, as blurred shapes which eventually would manifest themselves as humans passed and crowded around me.
