Jordan Ayew definitely leaving 13:18 - Jul 31 with 9400 viewsTom1912

The spokesperson for the Ayew family, Fiifi Tackie has revealed that Ghana striker Jordan Ayew will leave Swansea City before the summer transfer window shut down.

Jordan joined Swansea City eight months after being relegated with Aston Villa in the Championship.

The former Olympique Marseille forward became a key figure for the Welsh-based club despite suffering relegation to the Championship.

Ahead of the new campaign, Celtic, Fulham and Liverpool have all expressed interest in signing the pacy forward.

However, Fiifi Tackie has confirmed the 26-year-old will leave the Swans before the summer transfer window ends.

"I can assure you that Jordan Ayew will leave Swansea City before the summer transfer window comes to an end," he told Nhyira FM.

"We have received offers from other clubs but we are considering the Premier League clubs," he added.

Good riddance to both Ayews 👍

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

Not if no one pays our valuation he won't.

He’ll never get through a medical with that limp.

Don't see that as any great loss to be honest. Need to get the right offer in for him though.

‘We have received offers from other clubs but we are considering the Premier League clubs’

His record in the Premier League is consistent, currently 2 for 2 on relegation. so my hope is he goes to Cardiff.

I wouldn't mind that move. Doesn't look like they've made too many impressive signings, so Ayew could be their big money marquee signing of the Summer

I was going to ask at what point do we start pretending he was rubbish.

It’s answered it seems.

If no-one pays our valuation, the norm is we let them have him on loan - try before you buy kind of deal.

And then we usually end up ensuring that we get nothing much for him because there is no length on his contract

Negotiation experts we really aren't.

A lot of the time, he was poor but in our sea of dross, he was one of the best we had but that didn't exactly make him a world beater.

Was surprised to see on SSN earlier that Cardiff have spent 29 million in this transfer window

why do they get this from so many supporters?

jordan was arguably the best player for the most hopeful part of last season and worked harder than a lot of other players on the team. andre was dire, but not his fault the club spent that kind of money on him without a clue.

i'm not sure they're any more guilty than anybody else from last season.

I'll tell you why, both Ayews and their father have leeched enough money out of us already, get rid and buy in some young fresh blood ready to bust a gut for the cause

He had probably a good 6-8 week spell in his 18 months at the club.

That's not good enough.

I think it's just because they are both classic football mercenaries and some folk don't like that. It's like the difference between someone who signs up to serve his country and is revered for it and someone else who joins an army in some central African republic for a couple of years to shoot at their neighbours in a 10 year border dispute because they pay him to.

I didn’t say he was rubbish, I just said he had a record of being at clubs that were relegated.

But some people might say he was craps.

We have to admit Jordan at his best is one of the best dribblers I've seen in a Swans shirt.

If some manager can teach him how to f*cking pass or shoot at the right time then he could turn out to be really good.

No wonder Fulham, Leicester are into him.
