He was with Twente a few seasons back, superb player with them.

Likes to dribble and run at players.

I have never noticed him, and the link is probably bullshit, but I will say this...at least he is the right type (based on descriptions of his play).

That's what we need, someone central who can run at people, scare them, disrupt the defence and get among the goals.

He's played two pretty successful senior domestic seasons now so not really.

I believe I've already mentioned him on this ever useless thread.

His stats are good for the Championship with Ipswich. Good injury record. Has many years to develop. Honestly..Not bad.

Also 4 m isn't much for what he's accomplished so far.

He's got a DUI though. Hopefully he's not a drunk.

If he has got any sense he won't go for a pint in the Black Boy Messa did that once and was labelled an alcoholic for ever more.

Bersant Celina can play mostly as AMF and LW. imo he's a good signing and I won't complain (if it works out at all of course as it's not set in stone)

Now we really need a striker. And I was thinking why not considering his Man City academy teammate Thierry Ambrose? He can play CF and winger..He's only 21 and fits exactly the bill of players we're looking into.

Last season he played for Breda in the Dutch league and he impressed with 10 goals in 30 games.

Getting both for 10 m would be a great piece of business.

Can't see that, they've just signed Shaqiri who I'd assume would play a similar role.

Liverpool have a superb starting attacking trio but their back ups are terrible.

Shaqiri might fill in the shoes of Salah if injured or suspended. But it's not expected for Ings, Solanke and Lallana to to fill in Mane and Firmino's positions. They need more depth. And our Ayew could very much help them improve their squad going forward.

He's always been one of the best players in poor sides. What happens if he plays for a good side for once?

Plus he'd be affordable and low risk for them as well. What's a 12 m for Liverpool nowadays? That's the amount of money they'll be making from selling Danny Ward anyway.

Now if Celina signs. What else would we need in this window?

Clearly it depends on who comes and goes..but based on what's probable we still need.

A-Either 1 or 2 centre-backs (depending whether Amat, Fede, Mawson are sold)

B-Central Midfielder/Defensive Midfielder (it also depends on whether Clucas stays or not. But even if he stays it'd be preferable to sign someone new in this position.)

C-And finally..a Striker..who can play as CF but preferably can also play on the wings.

3-4 more signings and we're good to go.

Potter will have to have a minimum of a shadow team to start the season.

Players, who are looking to Europe, could well decide to leave after the 9h August transfer deadline.
Although they could be replaced with loan players we don't want to be caught with an overly light squad because of different transfer dates.

If more of our experienced players are going to leave we do need to replace them with older heads rathe than 19 -20 year olds.

For me just a LB and a CM and we should be ok... this is ofcourse if noone else leaves... if the Ayew brothers leave then a new Striker

I've heard the name and just googled him. Seems to move about a lot but a 27 year old 5'11" central midfielder may be just what we're looking for. Experienced and imposing, got 5 goals whilst on loan at Fulham last season and they got promoted. He seems to be valued around the 3 million mark so a good solid piece of business. If true of course.

Each time I go to Bedd - au........................
