Not pretty but job done. As expected Sunderland fought hard but, as do all relegated sides, found a way to lose. Delighted for Eze, brilliant goal and some Adel-like touches. Needs to work on his short passing game though, sold a number short. Also thought Bidwell had a stormer, so much better as a traditional left-back. Everyone needlessly panicky towards the end and you always thought Sunderland might nick an equaliser from somebody like McGeady. |  | | |

Watched the ruby in the pub and kept in touch with the match on here 🙄. Just the Four of us. Nothing on the beeb or twitter. Nothing happening match. Gave up and went home via the off licence. On the way back it absolutely bucketed down and got soaked to the skin. Checked the updates and found that I had missed the “excitement and the win.
