I’ll say 3-1 to the Rangers, with ?Derby scoring in the last few minutes of the first half, and Ollie changing the team around from a containing one to an all out ball busting, go get em one.

Judging from two live texts and Brian's excellent updates we seem to have pretty much outplayed Derby tonight and been only a little bit of decent finishing away from beating them.
We're 10 points above the drop with 10 games left. I shall drink to that.

Ah man, that move with Smyth (younger) winning in our half, setting Freeman free who played a blinder of a ball in to Lynch who couldn't beat the keeper -- that would have been the perfect winner. |

A point was the least we deserved on the basis of effort. To me it looked as if Lynch did as much as you could reasonably expect from a central defender on that last chance.
Tell you what though, we've got to find a way to get Eze into every match. I wouldn't mind seeing what a front three of Eze, Sylla and Lynch looks like before the end of the season. |  | | |

Gutted that Lynch chance wasn't buried, though I suspect I'd have missed work tomorrow if it had...
Good performance all told, limited going forward but looked good, Furs, Smyth, Eze all excellent.
Would like to see us start the same against Sunderland but with Eze as number 10 with Freeman wide left, looked much better after that change. |  |

Of course, with Freeman cutting in as he would we'd have no width but personally while width is desirable it's not everything.
The best Rangers team of the last thirty years had no winger on the right and a two-footed wide-midfielder on the left who'd cut in as often as he'd go outside.
Playing like we did tonight you don't have to have two wingers, just two attackers who at least start out there to stretch the oppo's back four as we build our attacks. | |

Just pointing out that generally to use the full width of the pitch we don't need two out-and-out 60's wingers. | |
