No, not really.
Phil is allowed to have a private life & allowed to keep things from the public domain if he wants to do so. When he said it was for personal reasons, I accepted it for what he said & I don't understand why he owes anyone an explanation.
For all of the hard work he has done over the years, which was voluntary I feel you're being a little insensitive and also disrespectful to him for demanding this.

I think it's disgusting what's been said here about Phil Sumbler
The SCSA hasn't even been going a month yet but in that time it's managed to unite two forums and seriously rattle the cages of the sellouts and their acolytes. Just goes to show when United what our fans can achieve. So to diss Phil for stepping back due to personal reasons is a disgrace.
I have a friend of a friend who has been told that Phil Sumbler approached the chief admin from the other forum and it was a wise decision as they worked well together and he's exactly what the SCSA need. If you are talking about your disgust at my remarks I think you're an idiot.
If you can't see any problem with Sumbler announcing his departure from an organisation he launched on BBC and ITV primetime news less than a month ago accompanied by a huge media blitz, in the middle of a thread about a troll with a one line Brexit inspired banality about personal meaning personal, the problem here is entirely with you.
This is likely to only fuel the whispering about the sell-outs having dirt on him and/or the Trust, which is the last thing he needs if he is sufffering from some personal tragedy.
