Match Thread 10:37 - Sep 26 with 36771 views | ichbinnaughty | My debut bow in starting one. And I'm going to go Barnsley 1 - 3 QPR. Sylla, Smith and Freeman (in no particular order). So there.
Match Thread on 21:43 - Sep 26 with 3650 views | FDC | Bloody missed the goal because apparently the stream wasn't currently being broadcast.... Would certainly have taken that at half time. One positive is that Rangers definitely finished the game with more energy, Barnsley looked very tired. We lacked shape throughout though, and in general the game fits the pattern of setting up a bit weirdly, then trying to rescue it with Lua Lua crossing to Smith. As it happened the goal came from an moment of individual quality from Freeman rather than anything tactical.

Match Thread on 21:48 - Sep 26 with 3485 views | FDC | I would imagine Holloway will say something about Barnsley never really looking like scoring apart from the wondergoal they scored, which is true. Barnsley were pretty poor apart from that.

I think the players are genuinely giving their all. I like this group. I'm just not sure they're clear on how they're meant to be playing and creating chances. It looks a bit "play it by ear". They're trying though, and I think the players are much better than some fans think.

Agree I got it wrong. The team never give up. Despite the injuries there is great team spirit.

Match Thread on 23:24 - Sep 26 with 2545 views | VancouverHoop | Pluses tonight. The defense all played well. OK none of them could realistically have done anything about the goal, but otherwise they weren't seriously tested. Top of the list: Baptiste has been a monster since the day he arrived, consistently reliable in every match. Probably, in terms of timing Olly's most fortuitous/smart buy. I'd make him MoM. Caulker did fine, considering his issues, and how little football he's had. We know he can be more dominant than tonight, but all in all a decent performance. And Robinson was solid too, especially after getting mugged mid-way through the second half. Bidwell and Scowen were as advertised also. If this (please Mrs God!) is as threadbare as our defence gets, then we should have little to complain about when it's at full strength. [Post edited 26 Sep 2017 23:26]
