match thread v millwall on 13:25 - Sep 12 with 2414 views | simmo | Agressive, direct team that are well suited to us TBH. We're high pressure that presses the opposition to win the ball high up the pitch or force the opposition to play long, they are a basic bitch that already plays direct and bypasses the best part of our team - the midfield. 1-1 and a fckin horrible, niggly game. Hope I'm wrong. Also as above Millwall will be bang up for this, evening game, London derby and they hate Ollie and Birch - all the motivation they need to get stuck in.

The fans might dislike our management (as they dislike most things) but do the current players give a toss? Freeman to rip them a new one. But would you swap out Robinson for a larger more aggressive CB?

match thread v millwall on 13:41 - Sep 12 with 2375 views | headhoops | have a feeling this is going to be a fractious, nasty affair both on and off the pitch. We need to tear out the blocks, set the tempo and an early goal would be ideal. Washington is due one, expect it to arrive on 6 minutes. They will pull level through a mass scramble at a corner before we take a grip of the game in the second half. Goals from Massimo and Smith will trigger the inevitable and the neanderthals will be throwing stuff at Smithies. Expect 345 shots, no goals, this season Morison to score with 5 minutes to go, ironically with his first attempt. Instead of backs to the' wall' for the final time we will hit them on the counter and close out a 4-2 win. 4 yellows for them 3 for us crowd of 11,393, sorry I cannot be more specific than that.

As the alternative is Caulker, I'd take my chances. I thought we had a poor record in midweek games but we've only lost one of our last 17 Tuesday night home games apparently (albeit 6-0). | | | | Login to get fewer ads

One of their posters, brokennosewall, asked about the fire extinguishers, odd request I thought. [Post edited 12 Sep 2017 15:56]

match thread v millwall on 16:03 - Sep 12 with 2138 views | RBlock | Anyone fancy getting Hill's contract wrapped up this afternoon so we can send him to war against these Millwall forwards? Robinson played well, but from what we've heard this game may be better suited for somebody adept at getting their head on anything and everything, be it a football or an elbow.

It's a nice dream but....Clint himself said he was knackered after 50 mins of an U23 match, that was played at half pace (at best) of tonight's game

But the fans turning up making loads of noise, especially against a midweek, mostly sober QPR crowd will only help them. I think that will transmit to the team and players too - especially as their manager is their version of Ollie in a lot of ways. It could be that we impress our game on them and have too much for them, but a makeshift back 3/4 against the elbow tornado that is the Millwall front line won't be pretty to watch...
