Apart from the defending we sound like we have done OK v THE form team at the moment at their place.

Ipswich look like losing 100% record at the mo.

Derby & Norwich both losing.

Have to say I'm more optimistic than I was before season started - that's assuming this doesn't end up 5-1 or something daft.

You scout him. He's 30 years old, he's played for Holloway before. If he's not better than an unfit , low in confidence Caulker why sign him? We needed good cover at the back even with a fit Caulker.

Given that there was whole thread on here along the lines of "Who the off are we going to play in defence at Cardiff?" with several suggestions that we needed to get a loan in pronto, I don't thin we can slag off the manager too much if (a) he picks Caulker (or if he'd picked Baptiste or whoever) and (b) the defence turns out to be not very good.

For my money Clive was dead right to ask if Brentford was the "Newcastle moment" and I'd say that so far the answer is "not necessarily."

Next 45 mins key - not a "must win" game but performance important; we could get completely hammered here, I'll be happy if we keep the score down, stay in the game and make some decent chances. (Well, I won't, but I won't be digging anyone out either.)
