No he is talking about the postman a couple of years a go, can't remember his name but heavily linked and had a bid rejected. Want to say Peter something

Was he the guy we were trying to snatch from under the noses of Gretna? It drew the attention of perhaps the only ever Gretna troll. I wonder what he's doing now.

Perhaps he ran away to get divorced.

Thompson sustained a punctured lung when he went to Stockport.Never really got back in and returned for another season, maybe two at Linfiield.Probably retired now. My brother manages at Championship level in the Irish League and reckons Smyth looks a decent enough player but hard to tell how he would adapt to full time football.

I must be a saddo but these sort of signings excite me more than the likes of going for Bogle at Wigan, you never know he could be an Irish Jamie vardy
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

The million pound quote is from Manager Healy who obviously wants to keep him. Reading Linfield forums they reckon 150,000 with an add on percentage would be good bussiness for them so maybe not a massive punt for us to take. Pete the Postie ended up leaving them for £150,000.

Would be quite the punt but at 19 years old and for the right price, why the fck not - seems like we've been tracking him a while and with the scouting network we have now we can be a little more assured that these kind of left-field targets are more of a well measured risk.
