I understand why he specifically went for that formation against Reading. Tactically outclassed them at Madejski, they haven't changed, might as well do it again. Also understand why that formation should not be played every week, as teams who realise how open we leave ourselves pressing high will just ruin us. Would like to see him find a perfect formation that can be consistently good though. Can't play Reading every week

manning playing alone deep as a defending midfielder/ linking midfielder i think. trying probably to keep the ball down and passing to sides.
