Feels good to lose my match thread virginity. Tough task today against an in form side, not made easier with the absence of Lua Lua, Freeman and possibly Conor still. I wonder how much of this selection is dictated by present fitness, by form in training, by tactical considerations or by injury prevention.

As fans we have to accept that we know very little of what goes into team selection. Many times we've knocked a team selection only to find out later that there were good reasons for changes.

I just hope we're not resting players and risking the game in front of us while thinking about the next.

One way or the other, I can't help feeling that this game just got significantly harder.
