QPR's worst ever manager on 23:05 - Feb 17 with 4572 views | Northernr | Pound for pound it's Hughes. Destroying a great inheritance it's Mullery. Ability wise I still think you have to go a long way to find a worse football manager than Paul Hart.
QPR's worst ever manager on 23:11 - Feb 17 with 4560 views | QPRSteve | Ray Harford Lowest percentage wins of any QPR manager I stopped going to games for a while until they sacked him.
QPR's worst ever manager on 23:23 - Feb 17 with 4545 views | hamptonhillhoop | It's Alan mullery. Destroyed a team that had only finished seven points off the title and up until two or three games to go had a genuine chance of winning it. Within months we were in a relegation battle. And he had stupid glasses

Mullery all day until Hughes came along. Never before has a single manager had an open cheque book and he and his agent friend and hangers on destroyed any hope of a sustained involvement at the Big Table. We had one chance and they royally screwed it up.

QPR's worst ever manager on 00:34 - Feb 18 with 4448 views | kensalriser | From QPRnet's interview with Peter Hucker all the way back in 2002: PH: I remember that we had an absolute, total wnker of a manager in Alan Mullery. What else do you need to know?! He was a pratt, he was useless, he still is and always will be. He didn’t know anything about management, he didn’t know how to handle players, he didn’t know how to handle the club and he was tactically naive so we were beaten before we started. Appointing him was the biggest mistake that Jim Gregory ever made. Thinking back to that UEFA Cup tie where we went out to Belgrade, we had a great result at home to win six-two and if you can’t protect a four goal lead in a second leg you want shooting — and Mullery wants shooting. I won’t accept any excuse other than that result was 100% the manager’s fault. It was an absolute nightmare and best forgotten. I’ll give you an idea about his football knowledge, at the end of that game having conceded four and gone out on away goals he chased us down the tunnel shouting “come back, come back it’s extra time!” He didn’t even know the rules of the game.

I tell non-Rangers friends that story and they don't believe me. Mullery.....

QPR's worst ever manager on 02:28 - Feb 18 with 4378 views | isawqpratwcity | What Clive describes as 'pound for pound', easily our worst value manager was Hughes. I campaigned early in the 12-13 season for his dismissal because he was giving the rest of the Premier such a head-start after a poor 11-12 season. Even though I still consider that stance to be justified, I doubt I'd repeat it, given the chance. I've since been sickened by seeing two fledgling managers, operating on a necessarily very low-budget, hounded out by the boo-boys because early mediocrity was just not good enough. QPR's worst ever manager on 09:05 - Feb 18 with 4185 views | Pommyhoop | Mullery was our worst .. But the one I hate ( I mean really hate ) is Redknapp. Complete chancing shytehawk who is STILL pulling the wool over peoples eye's due to the f'cking insane respect given to him by the Media and the gullible public. I blame Harry Enfield , George Cole ( playing Arthur ) Ronnie Knight, Derrick Trotter , Alf Garnett ,The fellas spilling their guts about the Krays and all the other people who have added to the 'Cockney Chic ' bollox. . I f'cking hate him !!

A bit harsh for me. We were near the bottom when he took over and we finished mid-table and got to the QF of the cup. Not adequately replacing Ferdinand was his undoing but how on earth could we have replaced that sort of scoring record? Too many of his signings underperformed admittedly but top 3 worst managers? Not for me while memories of Hart, Mullery, Harford, Hughes, Redknapp are still fresh in the mind.

When I heard Redknapp had resigned I had a grin so wide the top of my head nearly fell off, despite the knowledge that he'd left a turd on the desk for the next bloke by doing it the day after the transfer window closed. But for all of his faults, and they are numerous and glaring, he did at least take us back up at the first ask.

That's how the history books will tell it but we went up in spite of him and with a lot of luck.

Absolutely disagree. He lost Ferdinand and made a couple of howlers in the transfer market, but miles away from Hughes and Mullery's incompetence.

Without much doubt, Mullery is one of the biggest cock bags to ever cast a shadow. However, for the sheer Tourette's-inducing, Jack Douglas-style spasms of incoherent rage that overcome me every single time I see, hear or think about him, Harry 'Fcuking' Redknapp arsing well takes the c unting biscuit.
