Clements input into the transfer window 17:34 - Jan 31 with 4040 views | Darran | Utter shite. I honestly thought when he came here he'd have contacts to bring in a couple of quality loanees untill the end of the season but his input has clearly been piss poor.

Clements input into the transfer window on 17:43 - Jan 31 with 3075 views | E20Jack | His contacts are at the best clubs in the world. We won't see the benefit of those kind of players until we as a club show we are capable of being an ambitious competitive Premier League club whether that be permanent or on loan. Nobody of that calibre wants to be in a relegation scrap when they can stay where they are and pick up medals with a bit of game time off the bench to boot. [Post edited 31 Jan 2017 17:49]

Clements input into the transfer window on 17:46 - Jan 31 with 3046 views | costalotta | Perhaps its just more of what we've done over the last 3 years or so. Manager/Coach has input but not decision making authority. I was really hoping we'd get in the CB/ leader we so desperately need. I know PC will coach and improve what we have but we have one hell of leap to make defensively on that score. Being more solid in front of the back will help, as will our attacking players keeping the ball better and the signs are there that we are improving on that front. We got something to build on now, 2 wins in last three matches. Tonight will be tough no doubt but confidence will be growing amongst the players IMO. Score first and I'm confident we can get something out this game and if we can get the win... and results go our way we could be 5 points clear! Come On You Swans!
Clements input into the transfer window on 17:51 - Jan 31 with 2984 views | magicdaps10 | Really hoped things would change on arrivals under clement, seems like another jenkins windows with arrivals and blunt ignorance on what we really need strengthening. Lies just se to be continuing. Ignorance and stubbornes is disgusting at out club.

Clements input into the transfer window on 17:52 - Jan 31 with 2952 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | No good player is going to come and play for us just because the Clement used to be his assistant manager a few years ago. Either pay what these players are worth or they'll go elsewhere and we'll be left with proven failures like Ayew.

Another window with Jenkins name up in lights as per usual. That said Carrol and Olsson looked very decent signings against Liverpool, can't comment on Narsingh as I'd never heard of him before he came here. [Post edited 31 Jan 2017 17:55]

That's not the way it works though,Clement goes to Ancelotti ask about a certain player coming to us on loan and Ancelotti sits down with certain player and says to certain player I think it's a good idea if you go out on loan untill the end of the season.

Yeah but I can't see anyone from Bayern wanting to go to a relegation battle in the Premier League. We cannot offer them money as an incentive if pursuing a loan deal. If I was a footballer and a manager wanted to jeopardise my career just to provide a favour to an old colleague I'd be very angry. [Post edited 31 Jan 2017 18:03]

You said similar about Carroll and Olsson. Ayew is an excellent addition just like the other two are.

Indeed, like Rodgers with Nouble. And McEachran. And Priskin. Take your point though. I'm failing to see any difference to what would have happened anyway. It's a fingers crossed buttocks clenched job from here on in. If our defence continues its pathetic average soft-as-shit goal leakage, we have nowhere else to go now. Tonight could be a bit chastening if the A Team centre back combo caves in.

A winger who has scored 2 in 22 in the second tier is an excellent addition? The jury is still out on Carroll and Olsson. Carrol's performance at Liverpool was promising. Olsson looked lost in defence numerous times and was arguably to blame for at least one goal.

Wouldn't be jeopardising a career though would it? A talented young player would jump at the chance of a loan spell with a Premier league club as opposed to playing for the second team in the German third division.

Surely it's more about regular football? Wiltshire to Bournemouth a case in point. Not a relegation battle but a big step down from Arsenal all the same...
Clements input into the transfer window on 18:14 - Jan 31 with 2725 views | Neath_Jack | When Laudrup became out manager, people were saying exactly the same, in that he had the best contacts in football and would be calling in favours for youngsters from his old clubs like Real and Barca. It's all fantasy football stuff.

Why would we want a youth player who would normally only be capable of turning out for a team in the German third division?

How do you define youth? As a Manure fan I'd have thought you would have been able to grasp the idea. I''m sure PC would have identified a couple of Bayern equivalents of Rashford.

Yes. I am amazed you judge a player on stats of half a season. Probably why you continually judge players ability incorrectly. He had a decent Premier League season scoring 7 goals in 27 starts and some excllent performances for a failing side. Does that mean The Championship is a harder league by threefold based on that, or do you think stats are very misleading depending on what agenda you wish to push?

Clements input into the transfer window on 18:31 - Jan 31 with 2583 views | macthejack | Does anyone seriously believe our manager would be allowed that much input on signings.
