its my party and ill cry, Reading Match thread. on 10:19 - Jan 12 with 3557 views | londonscottish | 1-0 Reading. Was talking to a Reading mate and he's more worried about a bore draw. He says they play a lot of possession football but there's not much going on in the final third. So I predict a low scoring game with Reading edging it.

| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

I think the arrangement for our game was that you could book tickets over the phone from Reading's ticket office until 6pm or something and then collect them at the ground. Not sure whether you could pay on the gate. I guess it depends if you've sold your full allocation and whether you've then been given extra blocks. We had 3,500 there and the fu cker got abandoned at half-time due to fog - hope you have more luck!

We saw a bloke on the tube the other day in Camouflage trousers and a Hi-viz jacket; my wife nodded in his direction and said, "I think he's one of those introverted extroverts". Well, it made me chuckle.

Can't see Doughty starting tonight. Reading aren't great at the back so we might as well have a go. There could be plenty of goals tonight. Yeah I was thinking along those lines but it's also 3-3 at the time and there's a couple of red cards and a dodgy penalty.

its my party and ill cry, Reading Match thread. on 12:08 - Jan 12 with 3382 views | Dando | Still not really convinced with Hall in midfield. He can do a decent enough job there but if we have other options, I just don't really see the point. At times he looks a bit unsure of what to do with the ball, despite making some good challenges of course. Just would like to play a game where everybody plays in their correct positions unless no other choice

Excellent. When was the last time the old orange ball was used! Get it out and get on with it. Players justified in wearing gloves this eve, but, our of principle, our back 4, central midfielders and target man should all refuse. First big tackle/physical challenge key in these conditions for all the 1-1 battles across the pitch. Get stuck into them early.

I like, but I'd have Hall over Manning in midfield, and Onouha in a centre half. Onouha has been excellent as a pure centre half the last 1.5 games. As a central defender, he's won everything. Also, we need to stop disrupting the centre of defence. I genuinely think he and Lynch are our best combo. Secondly, a midfield of Manning (or Doughty) and Luongo, with Mackie in front, is quite small. We're away, against a team high in the league, and it's snowing. I want some size in there. Hall will protect the defence better than anyone else and add height to our set pieces. Oh, and I'd probably start Shodipo over Lua Lua, but that's a minor point.
