I dont agree. Again i stress i didnt see the game but listened to the comms ,but we had chances, we are just not converting them. We can talk about Washington all day long not being able to play as a lone forward but end of the day when the ball is at his feet he has to make it happen in front of goal. Chery , Polter, Sylla, they're all guilty. just not clinical enough in front of goal. Perch headed a good opportunity wide and had a decent shot go wide. Luongo got through 3 players just couldnt get his shot in. Mackie made a turn and shot just wide towards the end. Its just not happening in front of goal.

That's the problem with radio comms mate - none of those were really chances except for maybe Mackie's one. half chances, at best, quarter chances really. We're creating nothing. I love Les, but the decision to sack JFH is looking worse with each passing game. I know it was dull, but we were picking up points. I was seriously concerned that Ollie had lost it when I saw him at Palace and Millwall and I'm even more concerned now.

Bad day... - squad if fine IMO. Agree there is not enough of a team concept...definitely not attacking philosophy. Irony to me as that pic of Ramsey...we have a coach in house who WAS good in the attacking phase but could not defend. This was not simply a loss...it was the rank ineptitude of the loss...no plan, no execution, no shots, no scoring threat. Not close to the exhibition vs Watford in preseason or even the early weeks of September. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Mate unfortunately I'm afraid that the players just aren't good enough most of them can't control the ball to even a Semi Pro standard and when they pass the ball (and actually manage to get it to one of our players) its always a few inches out. The problem is those few milliseconds make us look pedestrian I bet Neil Si could say it proper. Sad thing is either every team we've played are either Brazil lite or more likely our players aren't even league 1 standard but more like Vauxhall Conference or whatever its called this week.... Fck this I think we should stick a few chill out tunes on, we've still got time to rescue our Sunday from QPR................................

I really don't see either Ramsey's or Hasselbaink's sackings as Les' work. If I was in his shoes, and I'd appointed and then sacked two managers because I'd come to the conclusion that they weren't good enough, only to see the third struggling badly, I'd have to at least consider resigning. Imo, Les would have been thinking that both of them were doing ok enough, but was told differently from upstairs. I bet it's squeaky bum time whenever Les hears the phone ring.

January is 2 weeks away and Sir Les first choice for manager has just come free. I for one would not be surprised to see a change, it is after all cheaper to make changes in the dugout. And ...I doubt a change would make things worse.

The aston vanilla eary doors match thread. on 14:22 - Dec 18 by BrixtonR | No it was the decision to put the fcking tea boy in charge of the team when we still had a chance to stay up that destroyed this clubs future and hope. The thing is I don't think I'm a QPR supporter anymore after the Man City away game and Leicester away game where everything the club had ever stood for was made a mockery of I think I lost it big time. I now watch each match with nothing but anger and psychotic hated . It doesn't help that the 'players' now are like watching a bunch of maimed bambis on acid. But Its Ok they can afford a new pair of Dr Dre beats headphones everyweek CNTS Oh and the 6 years geezer has done more for the club than most of those useless wasters out there at least he can control his kicks to the head and place his glass accurately Fckin Ramsey...FFS Ramsey and the Ramsey wrong uns....like Josie and the pussy cats without the short skirts musical talent and being fit I actually have no idea what I'm on about just fckin angry seeing the Ramfckers face Right off for tea and Scones............ You really only have to look at our stats this season, how many goals from open play.? Our strikers have scored goals at various levels. They are not scoring at the moment because we are creating nothing for them.

Not quite sure where your point is meant to take us. Yes, we have a serious attack problem. It may even be considered to be deteriorating. Do you want to sack Holloway or Ferdinand as a result? Those are just two of a number of possible reactions.

The aston vanilla eary doors match thread. on 00:15 - Dec 19 with 1450 views | FloridaR | I actually sat and watched the whole game for 1st time and I see that we did pretty good, using every inch of the pitch in the 1st 12-13 minutes of the game. I like the width and the backs vertical balls up between there centre back and fullback s trying to create a 1 on 1 for the fwds — good ideas. After that time we eventually tailed off with pressing high and had a feeling the players needed half time at 35 mins and were devoid of ideas. Second half and after the subs I see we have 'athletes ' not footballers in the game and highly inexperienced players in final third of the pitch. Perch is godawful. Smithies is great & Luango is a decent box to box midfielder and put in a lot of effort today but those 2 being our best were at the heart of allowing the goal from Kodijo. I like hall and should be pushed up the pitch more often in this side to try get out the game. Our final third movement is awful and Ollies flogging a dead horse trying to get something out of Washington and need to stopwasting time with him and turn him into a left or right back. Villa experienced players were sucking the game up today and found it easy to deal with us. Anyone else notice we hit the sides of the pitch with 4 players constantly sends me into a wild spin as its so easy to defend against, text book stuff. Another thing all 3 recent managers have a habit of is trying pushing the side up after we concede and we look good with a lot of pressure, if can substain this for 10 mins or so why don’t they do this before half time or straight after halftime instead of last min. Well Done Les and Co you created this mess, Happy New Year and all the best for 2017

The aston vanilla eary doors match thread. on 13:36 - Dec 19 with 1296 views | whittocksRs | While the strike force we have isn't exactly the envy of everyone else, CW, Polter and Sylla do have 30+ goals combined in them. I just can't get my head around why every manager seems to play the same one-up-top/no wingers formation. The current system, which Ollie and JFH play, just doesn't suit the squad in my eyes. They must seen and know something else, or adhere to some other type of philosophy. I'm just not sure what that is.
