Same situation as Allen really. We didn't really need him as much as other positions but he would have improved us. Gueye would certainly improve he's a great player. Not gonna happen tho, a couple of good attacking players in the next 2 weeks and anything else will be a bonus

Transfer Thread on 22:09 - Jul 25 by londonlisa2001 | Did you miss the games where Rangel was 20 yards behind the opposing winger desperately trying to get back then? Right back is our weakest position (or at least it was until we sold every forward at the club). |
Rangel should have been back-up two seasons ago. God help us if he's still first choice this season. Great servant, lovely bloke, sandwiches for the homeless, yada yada...

Transfer Thread on 11:51 - Jul 27 with 2687 views | Al_Bundy | When does the transfer window close? most agents will draw this time out to get the best deals for their players. For all we know we might be in this scenario trying to pin down targets we're chasing? For me its still 2 strikers but I fear we may bring in one with McBurnie and Ayew as back up although i'm fearing these two might be what we start with. A new RB is a must .. again I fear we will run with what we have got and fast track Ried into the side at some point. Centre Midfield is one light so would like to see extra cover there. So for me its still 3 or 4 new faces to strengthen what we have | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Transfer Thread on 12:07 - Jul 27 with 2629 views | jasper_T | If anyone at the club is considering McBurnie for a regular senior role this season they need firing. He's far from ready. We definitely need one starting striker (and a right back). Splitting the budget and buying a reserve striker on top of that is the wrong way to go about things (as our recent forward signings have proven). Break the bank, bring in top quality.

Transfer window closes August 31st. At right back we currently have Rangel and Naughton. Both are OK options if there is nothing better in the market which suits us. Centre Mid looks perfectly fine to me with a choice of 2 out of Cork, Ki, Fer, Britton and Fulton. Ayew can potentially provide cover for Gylfi in the attacking midfield position if needed. So I would say just 2 strikers and we are all set please Huw. I would have no objections in bringing in Robson Kanu as second choice as he will be a low risk free transfer. With us then ploughing all our cash fund into securing a top striker if we can. Ollie McBurnie 3rd choice if needed (give him a run out in the Carling Cup and EFL trophy).

31, been poor in recent years.. A loan deal is the best bet. Hopefully our back up striker.
