Half decent tv 06:36 - Apr 29 with 680882 views | LadbrokeR | I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.

Half decent tv on 22:30 - Apr 15 by Lblock | Just started series 2 of Blue Lights Thought the first series was fantastic and this one has started very good as well |
Agree wholeheartedly with this. Thought the first series was one of the best ever police dramas on British TV and last night’s opener makes it look like they haven’t dropped the standard at all in series two.

Half decent tv on 09:58 - Apr 16 by GaryT | Walton Goggins is fast becoming one of my favourite actors. Thought he stole the show in Justified and upped his game even more with a few cameo appearances in Sons of Anarchy (google Walton Goggins Sons of Anarchy/images, you'll see what I mean). The second he appeared in the Fallout trailer I thought, this is going to be good. [Post edited 16 Apr 9:59]

I often hear this so made a point of watching all the seasons of Sopranos to see for myself. Really enjoyed it, but not even close to being as good as The Wire IMHO.

You know its good when in Series 2 the supporting actors are Jamie Lee Curtis, Sarah Paulson, Oliver Platt, Jon Bernthal and Bob Odenkirk. Very highly recommended.

I found The Bear painful to watch Yeah, the acting was good, but... They obviously researched the cooking part, but other aspects were so wrong... Putting up some plasterboard walls is not a ball ache Fixing an old arcade machine is not a dark art The whole premise of the programme is "will they make the sandwich?" Calling Richie "Cousin" all the time got on my Hampton. In the real world no-one would tolerate him It was just OK...

I agree, absolutely loved The Bear, fantastic TV. I also understand why some people would hate it though.

Half decent tv on 22:24 - Apr 18 with 4271 views | MrSheen | Netflix is full of comedy specials by people I’ve never heard of that are easy to pass over, but rather than waste my time on yet another unconventional crime-fighter or dystopian sci-fi I thought I’d give one a try. Brian Simpson -Live From The Mothership. No wiser on who it was, but it was laugh-out-loud funny, great stuff. It’s not just his material, his bone-dry delivery was first class. Treat yourself.

Thanks for the tip, four episodes in and really enjoying Parasite the grey. My 13yr old said was based on an anime series she'd watched. Just binged Fallout as well which was stunning to look at and totally bonkers, loved it.

Set in the 1970s, it looks great, is very intriguing and entertaining and at times very funny. Can’t recommend it highly enough, a completely unexpected treat.

Have finished it and it was good All got a bit “right on sister” with each passing episode but still good. Best line of the series “ we’ll never ride again”

Echo this, hadn’t realised the author had passed although knew he had been ill. I love historical modern mystery /fiction and the Shardlake series tops it for me. Vaguely remember the book, this programme was superb.. hopefully they will make the entire series although Matthew Shardlake does not look how I imagined him nor Barack Other authors in this genre I love SW Perry the jackdaw mysterys gotta love Bianca Merton SJ parris for the Bruno mystery’s Would love to see these brought to the big screen

Half decent tv on 06:23 - May 5 with 2532 views | LadbrokeR | So I finally managed to watch this town and to be honest I wasn’t overly impressed. I expected a bit more of the storyline to focus on the emergence of blue beat. I thought that the various different threads didn’t always hang together and perhaps a greater emphasis could have been given to a smaller number of plots for example the IRA and it’s existence and influence at the time. That said there were som good characters.

I haven’t read the books but my missus has and she’s enjoying it. The cast and writing is very good, the only very minor grumble I have is the theme tune which is very similar to Marvel and doesn’t suit the show at all.
Half decent tv on 08:51 - May 7 with 2251 views | Ned_Kennedys | Watched possibly the worst sci-fi film ever last night on Film 4: Moonfall. Huge budget, appalling script and CGI and a plot that made Independence Day seem totally realistic. Big fella from Game of Thrones had some of the worst lines ever spoken in motion picture history. Seemed like it was written by a 6 year old who’d had too much sugar. Not recommended.
