I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.
I'm running out of things to watch so I caved in and shelled out to download the first series of Deadwood. Master Sheen can't believe his ears - they were allowed to talk like that on TV? As an aging git, I tend to rely on subtitles for mumbly bits of shows, particularly when someone is working in the kitchen. No subtitles on Deadwood - if ever a series deserved and needed them...
There are subtitles but it depends on your method of download.
If you have a video file and its location on the hard drive you can add the subtitle file (making sure the subtitle file has the exact same name as the video file). This is normally when the files are stored on a PC but if you are downloading it on some other platform this might not work.
I remember watching the Kevin Allen thing at the time and enjoying it. I'll give that a watch later, thank you. I'm sure you know, but he's Keith Allen's brother (but I don't think he's Fulham - boo!).
That Kevin Allen documentary is quality, I watched it again recently. 30 years ago, but feels like a whole other world, especially from a football perspective.
Amazon prime has the Three Kings documentary about Busby Shankly and Stein on it - nothing new but entertaining and quite touching. Particularly enjoyed the Stein stuff - what an incredible thing for them to win the European cup that was.
I Care A Lot (Amazon Prime) starring board favourite Rosamund Pike. Watching it will make you feel like a Brentford fan last Wednesday- entertaining first half, cruising comfortably, then it all falls apart in the second and leaves you longing for the end.

You had me at "Rosamund".

Just started Tribes of Europa on Netflix. It's a German dystopian future sci-fi jobbie. I've chosen to watch in dubbed English rather than original but it's looking decent so far.

I just finished that.
It's not bad, I can't help but think the writer/director is a federalist though.
How fit is Liv? aaiiii Caramba.
Finished the first part of Lupin too which was great.
Have these been posted? I discovered them yesterday when looking for the wreck of HMAS Sydney.

Great shout, I just watched a recording of that. Very moving, utterly compelling, and it put my so called problems into perspective.

Just heard the theme tune to Hill Street Bills on the radio, one of my favourite all time programs. Ahead of its time but of its time, so not as gritty as the Wire and modern dramas but still one of the best. I don’t know if it’s available anywhere but in my opinion it should be.
