I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.
OK, so it's not new but Discovery Shed has been rerunning Dual Survival and I love it.
Who the two survival specialists are varies over the course of the various series, but when it's Joe Teti and Cody Lundene, there are always flashpoints as their mutual disdain keeps bubbling up to the surface. It's worth watching for that dynamic alone, in my humble opinion.
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
I'm enjoying Money Heist at the moment. Very good Spanish TV.
The wife kept hearing about this series at work and I eventually found somewhere I could *cough* acquire it. The first story-line was good and it could have ended there but if you sell your soul to Netflix, you've got to pay the rent. The 2nd story-line hasn't finished yet and it's definitely worth a watch but I'm in a difficult position now to be objective. The reason I say that is because I finally got round to binge watching The Wire and I feel I may have ruined my ability to see anything else as 'great' for some time. The wife enjoyed it as well and was keen for to me to find out if there were any more series (after number 5). I had to let her down gently by saying that the last one was in 2008 so that's it I'm afraid. She looked me in the eye, paused for thought before letting out a very convincing "shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!"
There was only one place to go after that so we are now half way through Breaking Bad. She hadn't seen it but I can testify that it definitely stands up to 2nd viewing.

I was watching Goodfellas the other night. That hospital doctor - it's State Senator Clay Davis!!
Haven’t checked to see if it’s been mentioned, but we’re enjoying State of Happiness (Lykkeland) on BBC4/iPlayer. It’s about the arrival of the oil industry in Norway in the 1960s. A bit soap-opera but the culture clash and divided loyalties are well done, the period detail is great, and the location shooting, onshore and on the rigs, is very good.

I liked that too. You are quite right about the detail. Very impressive.
Just started Betaal on Netflix. Lots of fun so far.

I’d recommend the Sopranos if you enjoyed the Wire. I rate the Sopranos as the better of the two but big fan of the Wire.

once you've finished Breaking Bad watch Better Call Saul(Saul Goodman)
Watching Bosch on recommendation from here. Just started S5. It rumbles on with seemingly not a huge amount of action but I'm addicted. Very good show.
