Don't like any of them tbh. 2nd is the better imo but really don't like them. Just a mess of previous badges.

The thing that puts me off 2 is the R looks like a B.

This executions retains the hoop idea but is a step closer to the 80's crest - we wanted this to be one of the options to vote on as we thought that it would be an easier step for towards something more iconic.

So I think maybe my negativity is misplaced (and that of everyone in the B&W on Tuesday) - some days have passed, let's have another look.

Nope.

"the club has really tried, brought in QPR fans who work in design, and has consulted throughout on it..." And made an utter arse of it!

With the possible exception of 1 none of them get close to working.

If the club had truly consulted the fans and acted on it I suspect we'd have the 80s badge back and that would be that.

My 'negativity' is with the choices presented, I don't like them aesthetically.

No problem with the consulting process, at least there has been one this time. I would have liked more variety in the choices, but I understand they will have a branding style they've arrived at.

I won't be demanding that the badge be changed. Whichever of these is chosen will be the QPR crest and that will make it have meaning for me, not the way it looks.

I like this one. I'd have it as a slipmat on my Technics avatar if I knew how to do it...

It's between two and three for me now, and having voted for two I kind of wish I'd voted for three. It's weird isn't it, the more you look at them the more one fades and another grows. No crown/nipple though, so four is out.

Really hate the bits of negativity around this - the club has really tried, brought in QPR fans who work in design, and has consulted throughout on it.

Yeah, I was for option 2 but on second thoughts went for 3 - felt more like a new beginning, and somehow I'm ready for that right now. Must be the time of the year.

I'm sure Dan is a lovely person but I don't like any of the designs. That is my opinion. I think they look messy, busy and not something I would want to see on the shirts. They take elements of previous badges and attempt to shoe horn them in together, for me that doesn't work.

I voted two because out of the four designs it was the least poor in my eyes. Others obviously will feel differently. However if we were just going to steal bits from old badges and cello tape them into a different design then why not just use the old badges?

In fact you could use one for the home kit and one for the away kit, who knows? All I am saying is that I don't think they are very good, better than flabios admittedly, and whilst Dan may have worked hard I don't agree with what has been produced and think the club hasn't a good track record with badges, kits etc over recent years.

I like the 'iconic confidence' one that we cant vote on.

Simple and smart. qpr, hoops - job done.

I want my vote back

After much deliberating i've voted No 3.
I liked the 80s badge as i grew up with it,but i feel it looks dated now.
No 3's lettering has an updated look of that 80's design. I'm happy with that.
Its 100 times better than the current Flavios one.

A gif the artist Dan Norris done. Not only do I still like this design best but I'm even starting to think it'll be a big opportunity missed if we don't have it.

Option 3 does build on our past, from the 70's but mainly the 80's.

This is how the SuperHoops crest could evolve - these are concepts and will need further refining but I think that it does have a lot of potential if given a chance.

The second one along could definitely be a good compromise. I don't mind having the 80s monogram again if people really don't want to let go of it, but I do strongly object to the way it pushes out of the centre in the #2 option plus the naff old typography. (Also irrationally hate the superfluous and cluttering "Est").

I have always loved the left, I don't mind the middle but I don't care for the right hand one.

The middle one loses some of the complex elegance of the old badge and I particularly like the old badge's letters on a diagonal and the echo in the tails of the Q and R. I don't like the emphasised loop on the Qs. They look like a numeral 2.

The right hand one looks dull with the uniform width lettering and loss of the serif.

A step closer to the classic crest but retaining a nod to the SuperHoops - thanks for the feedback, not all positive of course but some has been constructive. We are determined to get a badge that most of us will like - building on our heritage but looking to the future, but we know its a very hard task to please everyone!

The 'classic crest' is not necessarily the same for everyone though.

Me too.

Has the serif on the font, which I like, has the hoop thing which I sort of get Dan's point on, and is a cleaner look without the motto and date.

Would be interesting to see what these look like on the 70s hooped shield.

I'm being picky ,i know, but option B looks like QPB,whereas the lettering style and layout on option A is much better. It keeps a classic image we had for the best part of 30 years but made the lettering more symmetrical which i think subtly improves it to a more modern badge.

This is like going to the optician: "Which is better? This....or this?"

A has the letters outlined so you can see they are interwoven; I like that, it lifts the design off the page - adds depth. It also has the tails of the Q and the R working together; again, a big plus. A says 'explicit complex interaction, with harmony'. B lacks both.

What B doesn't have, which is to it's credit, is that eye-catching 'glitch' (imo) of the enlarged tail swirl of the Q looking like the numeral 2.

On B, the wider widths of the font look coarser, less elegant. Also, the slightly more perpendicular angle where the top loops of the P and R meet the main stems looks more restrained and elegant.

I want a crest that is vibrant and dynamic, and the interaction of the letters should show that. I also want to see some elegance and finesse: at our best, we play beautiful football - we're not Millwall.

But I'm just one opinion. I appreciate your canvassing our views.

Last day for voting. Personally, I think all four options are better than Flavio's monstrosity.
If pushed I like option 3 but happy with whichever wins the vote.

Next item on the marketing agenda has got to be proper hoops. Can't bring myself to buy this season's one - looks completely naff. 😬
