Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

16.2 Each Club shall submit a copy of its Annual Accounts (as defined in Regulation 16.3 below) to The League, but in any event:

16.2.2 by no later than the date on which the Club is required to file its accounts at Companies House (in case of League One and League Two Clubs).
16.3 For the purposes of this Regulation 16, Annual Accounts means the annual accounts in respect of the Club’s most recent financial year (such accounts to be prepared and audited in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements) together with a copy of the directors’ report for that year and a copy of the auditor’s report (if any) on those accounts.

Perhaps the Chur wrote it? He's good with hiding things and making no sense whatsoever. I do love this thread. Its spiralling to a messy end I think :-)

Might have been the words used by Flitcroft himself.
Well, at least we know "It's not worked out". Like most things "Bury" these days - deducing the truth from what gets said is like trying to nail a jelly to the wall.

If its not worked out why's he still there? They must have given him a contract till the end of the season ! Lol
Think that kind of proves that despite all the playing for free bravado, he's on a deal substantial enough to allow him to sit tight until the end of the season.

Exactly. More smoke and mirrors.

Tbf we never claimed he was playing for free:
The 29-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the season having had a nomadic existence in the last 18 months.

And Coventry wanted him, he'd been training there but bury snuck in and offered him a better deal I guess - obviously training at the amazing Carrington Complex is just the stuff of dreams for any footballer also!!

I enjoy reiterating statements that make people look a bit silly.
Flitcroft is one of my favourites.
Me silly or Flitcroft or both?!
My guess, is that Eagles has signed a contract (as publicly stated) and is paid expenses/a bare minimum wage...but is on a fair whack if he plays. Probably why he's not played much! Let's face it, you dont sign a contract for no pay do you?
Mark makes a good point...sorry 1mark1 - we're not allowed to use first names on here are we?!
But if you read Flitcroft's quotes (2 weeks after the signing btw) he's having a hissy fit (which he is prone to) and sometimes, to be frank, talks nonsense. I think you could take his quote in several ways - literally like you have, or as i suggest on a pay as you play deal (so in effect it is nothing - to start with anyway) or a bit like the phrase 'he's on peanuts' - for me and you that's probably the minimum wage but for a footballer it's probably 500 quid a week or perhaps it's just plain old nonsense coz he was having a strop! It's all about context...
Btw when Flitcroft says:
"The lazy people out there...will say 'they just get the credit card out,' it's not the case" and..."I think it's about time people started understanding where we're at instead of making things up."
He's talking about me and you and others...
Not defending him or our Board - you know my views...but 2 sides to every story and all that.

Not you; Flitcroft and anyone else that may be quoted on occasion.
If he is talking about people like us, he can always try and clarify things sometime with FULL information provided.
