We are now falling down the table, and won't stop falling until, either we reach rock bottom, or we sort out our defending. Hopefully we will will sort out our defending, as we appear to be able to score enough.
I can't afford to go to many games, so will definitely not go to bury, as I would rather give my money to Dale, and I really do not fancy seeing my team get thrashed in a derby match. Also can't be bothered putting up with their fans, before, during and after the match.
Hopefully I am wrong, but I fear a 4-2 defeat next week. |  |

Actually, our current form is almost identical to last season:
in 2014/15 we averaged 1.75 points per game Vs the bottom 14 teams and 0.77 against the top 9 teams (based on end of season table).
As of tonight we are averaging 0.75 against the top 8 teams and 1.75 PPG against the rest of the division.
The good news is we are taking points from teams around us in mid table, last year we only took 5 points from the 7 teams who finished just below us.
Current average points per game is 1.42 (17/12)
Average PPG for last season was 1.37 (63/46)
Goals per game concede last season was 1.43 (66/46)
Goals conceded so far is 1.33 (16/12)
Goals scored last season was 1.56 per game
Goals scored so far:1.5 per game - 1 more goal and we would be on par with last season.
Expectations ... expectations will kill you!

Our position at the moment would very much suit me if it was that at the season's end. However, our last six matches or so, we are conceding far too many, and IF it was to continue we would be in trouble. IF we had continued our early season results we could end up promoted. All IFS and buts, but what is FACT is the amount of goals CURRENTLY we are conceding and ending up losing games.
I have NO expectations from Dale, only hope. Like I say, Top ten at end of season, I will be happy. | |
