I'm sure there are people out there who are impressed by this sort of thing.

Strong and stable my arse.

What a shame he isn't British and played in the 1960s. Would have had an amazing career.

This may well be true give he hasn't started a game. It could also be lazy journalism re-hashing an old story. No real quotes to back it up.

If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled. PG Wodehouse

I have to agree with Adel's comments on Pinocchio-

Doesn't excuse his attitude, but I know who I'd rather have have to clean the bogs.

It does show that Colin did work magic with him to get us up on his goals and performances alone.

However that was at the early start of his career, since then he may have increased his ego and got way worse so, that even Colin could not handle him now.

As we know he will sit on the contract until the very end. At 26 with 5 years to go that will make him 31. At which point no doubt he will retire a very rich man.

Well done to the club for not renewing his contract, instead terminating it early by mutual consent and finally getting rid of him. Now for the remaining two hangers on. January beckons!

Comes a point in time where you have to look at the player - did great things for one season, and should be in a top side, he had a chance at Benfica to re establish himself and seemingly he's failed to take it.
It's a terrible pity, but he will retire a very rich man so....
Nevertheless he has some great achievements in a QPR shirt for one season in particular but overall it's going to look slim pickings compared to what he could have done had he applied himself properly.

He's piled on the pounds again.
Benfica gave him a five year deal, someone's head needs to roll for that alone.
It's like buying a broken TV and complaining that it won't work.

That would be a dream for me! Though I accept it's an absolute sweat-inducing nightmare for most others.

Said 3/4 years ago that ultimately he would end up in the Middle East nutmegging retiring legends for a kings ransom and he's bang on target.

Will no doubt end up seeing out his returement sat outside a south of France hookah bar telling everyone that he used to be a footballer..

Derry quite interesting on the podcast about him , "the way he treated his team mates & the club was disgusting"... we already knew that but nice to hear it from it the horses mouth .
