Decent Article on Lee Clark and the current situation 11:37 - May 9 with 2782 viewsBigbrother

It looks like former Birmingham City boss Lee Clark has seen the light. He has quit as Blackpool boss less than a month after saying he was in it for the long haul and looking forwards to a new season and a fresh start.
Clark took over the struggling seaside club only a fortnight after losing his Birmingham job earlier in the season.

Blackpool were already rooted to the foot of the table and lack of players and a reliance on loan signings saw the former Premier League side finish with a dismal 26 points with only 4 wins all season.

Demonstrations by fans saw their last game - at home to Huddersfield abandoned - with probable Football League and FA sanctions to come next year.

Chairman Karl Oyston has been at loggerheads with supporters all season and a season ticket boycott by supporters will not help cash flow next term.

Clark may have believed he would be given some money to rebuild in League 1 and rumours from the club suggest this was not guaranteed.

Ironically the fans don't blame Clark but Oyston for lack of funds earlier in the season. On the opening day remember they travelled to Nottingham Forest with 8 new players who had signed in the previous fortnight on loan and it was downhill from there.

This is probably the most telling line in the whole article - another one who maybe feels that the O's should be investing more than they're prepared to and actually just don't get the economics of how to get a side out of a league.
