Chris Ramsey will be floating in on a cloud and handing out free gifts to all who attend this morning's bonding and peace pipe session from 9.45ish. With Kevin Bond on the harp.
He's on time. This is unprecdented. He's brought a cake and is handing out slices.
It's "nice to meet" the Sky reporter.
Sandro not fit. Still in a conditioning phase., Tart. Charlie has worked hard and he's back in contention. Real man. Sandro indeed. Ramsey says he's given him a hug.
Everyone who is fit is in contention, whoever we think can help us. Leroy injury is unfortunate, we have to have a rethink. Isla is also injured. But this is why we have a squad, I'm sure players will be able to fit in and do the necessary job.
I don't know Sandro's injury I wasn't involved at that time, but we want to be cautious because the last thing we want is him to break down and miss the Grandstand finish to the season.
Leroy, long term, not sure, never good to lose a player like him, we could do with him, but we have to get on with it. More cake Nick?
They're not fringe players, they're players at the club that I have used. They're part of the 25. Players weren't used because Harry thought slightly differently. I love everybody. Everybody is welcome. Tokes on pipe.
Tony leaves me to get on with it. He asks the odd question but he doesn't influence things.
We get good and bad media, you don't want to start worrying about what people say in the paper. My family and friends read it more than me. Nice statement from Tony, he's a lovely fella. There's a chance for a prestigous job here if things work out as I want them to go. Whether it's me or somebody else I want the very best for the club, I want them to have the best man, hopefully it's me.
I'fe a long way to go to be a dream manager. I'm focused on next few games, get wins to keep us up, we'll talk about everything else afterwards. Chill man.
There's a project here. We've got a new training ground coming. We want a stronger academy. We don't have the resources of other clubs and we want to be self producing. Les has brought me in to held develop the club, Les is an important part of the club;'s future, whatever role I get I'll do it as best as I can. Les is a lovely fella.
Few discussions over the last week. We would all like us to stay up and TF would have that decision whether to keep me or bring somebody else. I want to give him that difficult decision. The staff have been absolutely fantastic, press team,. medical team, people round the ground, everybody is lovely and supportive. We want to keep the club up so they're all still in the Premier League.
I'm here, Les has brought me here. Les has shown a lot of faith in me. I worked with Tim for the last five years developing something at Spurs, would have been nice for us to all stay together, football isn't like that. Tim understands I have a job in my own right. Tim will do a great job at Villa, I hope they stay where they are and we stay where we are. We've spoken. I hope things work out for him as they work out for us here.
"How has Bondy taken the change?"
He's a true professional, adaptable to situations, very hard worker, great driver, knows all the short cuts, whipped us across London after the West Ham game in 40 minutes, fantastic knowledge. He's another of my friends. Football friend.
He hasn't indicated to me that he;'s got anything else in his mind other than making sure the club stays up.
We'll approach Hull as we approached Sunderland. Everybody has trained well, everybody is focused on what we have to do, hopefully it will come together. We need to play on the front foot as we need to gain points as quickly as possible. We need to convert what we've done on the training ground.
The players will have the belief they should have. We've got talent. They should believe they can accumulate away wins. Another one would boost the squad.
The fans play the biggest role of all. I'm amazed at the way they support us. Hard to get to Sunderland, get back late. The players need to be mindful that more than 2,000 people are going to East Yorkshire to support them. We'll be pulling for them on the pitch. We're pleased they're supporting us like this. Free cake for all supporters.
Sky's wnk off question is about Chelsea racists.
They're not Chelsea fans or fans of football. They're acting in a manner that should be a thing of the past. I wouldn't blame Chelsea, those views are intrinsic in everyday life. It will be interesting to see what sanctions are enforced and how they're weedled out. Chelsea is a massive, multicultural club that does a lot in the community. I feel sorry that they've been gtarnished with this brush from this situation. They can't control what people do in their personal lives. It's something that's happened in football, but I've said for a long time these are social issues that manifest in the football world. No cake for them.
We'd like to be in the FA Cup and get to the final and play at Wembley. In some ways the time off works well, but ask any of our players and they want to still be in it. You don't get many chances to play in the FA Cup and get to the final.
Three points just to take us away from the group would give us breathing space coming up to the next game against Arsenal. Puts us in the situation where players gain self belief.
Now asking about the effect of modern technology on Chelsea racists. Fck me sideways.
Brave person to film it. I would encourage people to make sure perpetrators are known and we can try to eradicate it.
Chris Ramsey's black apparently.
I've experienced it a lot.
I started in 1978. Take from that what you may. Things were very different. Through the 80s, 90s even up to now. Racism isn't totally eradicated, it gets shuffled about and hidden in places you wouldn't believe. I have suffered it. Don't want to go into details, we can have a private conversation. I want to focus on what happened in paris and make sure everybody spotlights that. Don't want it to be about me. It's a reminder that it's still there. There are people trying their best to make sure it stays out of the public eye and bring awareness that there are people with these views and we need to keep them away from the game and make sure we never see that again.
Les Ferdinand is also black apparently. I think you can guess your headlines tomorrow kids.
It's a huge achievement. I started in 1978, think how much things have changed, different organisations bringing awareness. We should be judged as individuals, not by race.
Look at the black men coaching and managing. Look at them!
Wally Downes asks about John Terry.
There is a spotlight on them because of that. It's been dealt with one way or another. This is a seperate issue. We know Chelsea is a multicultural club and it has players from all over the world. I don't believe they can take the blame. However much you...
I think essentially here we're doing the Chelsea press conference, because Mourinho refuses to.
... just happened to be the people who are caught. Not only for Chelsea as a club to deal with their fans, it's for football as a whole to deal with those people. For people outside football to deal with those people. It's a crime. Take their scarcves away, it's something the authority needs to deal with. We look at football as the be all and end all of sorting out social problems. Social problems just happen to infiltrate football. People like to hide behind mob mentality which is why they get away with it.
And with that, Bondy plays us out once more.
