Now look.... I'm at the core of my soul a house, funk and soul boy but my music upbringing was founded on Dad's rock n roll, SKA, reggae, bit of early "rock" etc... ie real people, playing real instruments and performing their own tracks.
So in a world of manufactured pre-packaged Simon Cowell drivel anyone doing this sort of stuff gets a thumbs up from me. Like the way Barton's surname isn't mentioned so not personalising the song and keeping it for wider appeal. It's got a nice SKA under-current to it, nice bit of brass arrangement and the girl combines singing and looks.
So it's a YES from me. But I'll be returning to my bass, bleeps and hooks now...... thanks!
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
At a time when after seeing Barton's perforamce at Swansea I suggested that he should be sold pronto to save on his extortionate wages and speed up our team play I wish you well Emily.
Charlie got the big E, pity.
Good luck.

Maybe that's what Emily means by 'Go, Joey, Go!'
Perhaps we can all do a song extolling the virtues of SWP and see if it goes viral.
"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.
