Spelling comment?

I don't think leech is going too far at all. He was informed in good time that he was no longer wanted and that he wouldn't get a game here - choosing Green over him was a fair and square sporting decision and not "disgraceful treatment". He then went on to refuse a number of very presentable opportunities at competitive clubs in good leagues because none could match the money we were foolish enough to pay. You might not blame him for that cynicism but I don't see why anyone should call it anything other than what it is - parasitic behaviour.

He is a professional who came to us for the money. His contract didn't include a relegation wage cut. When we did get relegated we tried to force one on him, in effect, contract or no contract. What would you tell the club to do if you were him?

Him leaving would be as exciting and bizarre as him signing in the first place.

It's certainly got bizarre when we fantasize as much about getting rid of players as about buying them.

I've said this before, but if he doesn't leave this time we have to start putting him on the bench!

Murphy is not good enough and paying a back up keeper £80k a week is only slightly more bonkers than paying someone £80k a week to NOT play ever...

How any of this is Cesar's "fault" is beyond me. I'm just surprised how much money footballers need.
I stopped playing at 28 and think about playing everyday, but I can't.
If i was Cesar, I'd be tempted to take a deal to get some football, but each to their own. Goalkeepers are madmen and maybe he's spending the money on a charity or something!
Cesar cannot be at fault, he has a water-tight contract. One might question his thinking and the way he lives his life, but that is Cesar's business. Tony Fernandes fell amongst cynical thieves and it's going to take a few years yet for him to be able to clear his throat. Cesar, SWP, Mark Hughes contract, there's a lot of mould in our cupboard, we'll be a better club and in a better place when it's sorted...
