what cheeses me off is say before we got a small west ham allocation cos the club wouldn't risk a few quid, yet were paying bosingwa for striking!
we just had a reported 48000 at wembley and the club won't gamble on another 1000 tickets..but offered zamora a new deal, crazy when his hip needs more ops and he has been depressed and injured for so long??
1st away day back in prem....a london game too....all the feel good factors are still in motion and would be higher if we win saturday.

I spoke to the Box office about the allocation and they said we wouldn't ask for more because

1: slow uptake in sales
2: we have been their recently
3: Sunday game

Load of bollocks IMO we would easily sell at least another 800

If we could easily sell another 800 why did we still have 200 left yesterday of the initial apparently inadequate allocation?

Sunday game is not really a valid reason as it is a bank holiday Weekend... A carnival bank holiday to be precise...

Yes sold out last saturday morning , the 200 left yesterday was for Hull at home . Always took 3k to spurs going back to the 80's more recently 2900 in 11/12 sold them all , then 2200 in 2012/13 sold them all over a week before the game also on a sunday now we get told ' initial allocation' sell out 15 days before the fixture then get told no more tickets . Last season during a dire run we did 3200 or so for Charlton away so 1700 is way off the mark.
Meanwhile in the division below us Fulham with a 26000 compared to 36000 at spurs or so capacity sell 4000 tickets to Millwall , so much for back in the big time more like yeah we are in the prem but you cant expect to be able to buy a ticket for the big games guys despite forking out £40 because you were told membership gives you access to tickets . Any one remember the last time we didnt sell out an away London derby , been thinking and going all the way back to the 2-1 win at Palace in 2010 where we had 3400 or thereabouts and not been one since that for sure .

Yes, but at those prices, which are not in the least bit atypical for this league we may not have sold as many a one might think. Man United went on sale yesterday. At £46 that 1300 may take a lot longer than the £23 tickets to Barnsley did a few months ago. I hope they do go quickly though because I want there to be a lower tier allocation so I can swap my ticket for one of those.

Also I'm really disappointed now that when you buy at the box office they don't give you the ticket there and then. They post it out to you just as they would had you ordered by phone or online. You save the £3.50 booking fee, but you spend that anyway on a return journey give or take, and of course it takes extra time and effort to get there and back. I was always happy to go in person before because it meant I could tell them my seating preference and they'd give me the best seat for me that they had to hand. Not any more, at least not for the foreseeable.

Yeah, it's a new practice change from Man United for the foreseeable. The lady who served me didn't know why. I just told her I was very disappointed. There wasn't much else I could say but basically I'm going to be ordering online from now on.
