According to Skybet, the odds on Liverpool signing Wilf have shortened today from 6/1 to Evens.

http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/

With the money they will have from Suarez, £30 million+ only I'd say.

Also reporting £5 million + offer made for Troy Deeney.... surely not.

Twitter is full of scoucers slagging off Bony saying he's shite, too slow and just plain not good enough for them.

F*ck em indeed, arrogant swines.
[Post edited 10 Jul 2014 18:53]

Personal I do not think his style of play, fits most top clubs.

He is slow like a turtle, his technic is average (below average). Every topclub have the best passing players in the league and often play in a higher pace.

When said he is a fuccking goalmaschine.

Who have said anything about selling Bony.

We are talking about - if he as a player fits the top clubs.

Who said, Bony do not fit into a topclub (or has the potential).

He do just not fit into all top clubs.

I disagree - he could fit in at Spurs or Man United as they don't play such a high-paced attacking game.

Not Liverpool, though - I agree with that.

To me, Bony as a type of player would be perfect into a midtabel old fashion british football club with alot of physic and high balls into the box.

In such a club he would easily score 20-25 goals pr season.

Agree, he may work in Spurs.

Cause that's just what we do innit?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

the only real thing Bony lacks in his game is Pace, he has everything else in his locker once up to speed.

Great in the air, great finisher, quality hold up play, strength. Passing could be better. But well worth the 30m we should be asking for him

Can see what youre trying to say there mate, but youll get pelters for that.

FWIW, i think his lack of pace will put a number of top clubs off. Then again, hes so strong and so good in the air, they may overlook that.

His first touch is sometimes all over the place as well, but i think thatll get better with a full pre-season and a consistent run of games.

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

Let's see how he does if he signs for Liverpool before saying he has had a mare is it.
Some players struggle to cope with the extra pressure of playing for the so called called bigger clubs.

I can't see him signing for Liverpool personally, I really think he'll stay here for next season, but I can see him continuing his progress from this season, so next summer we'll probably have a job keeping him.

If he does stay and has another season like the one just gone, that's going to be a nice £40m problem for Huw.

I thought we would have at least one more season out of him. I'll be honest,
I agree with Jokeren, don't think he is ready for top four side yet.

Cost us 12.5 mil, wages say 40k per week over a year, 2 mil, that's nigh on 15 mil, 20 + goals and people think 20 mil is enough.

If we did sell for £19m I'm sure the usual would backtrack and defend the decision, claiming the board had done a wonderful job to get that much.

I hope we hold out for £25m.
