Parents on planes.

I just flew back from Spain a few hours ago. A couple of babies on the flight losing their shit. Fair enough. I don't much like flying either. Babies are probably thinking what the f**k is happening to my ears etc etc.

Here's the thing. Parents must f**k off. For sure take the passport away from anyone who has had a baby for like a solid four years.

1. Your baby does not need to go anywhere abroad. It's a f**king baby.

2. You don't need to go abroad. Stay home and look after the baby. Teach it some shit. Like how to shut the f**k up occasionally.

3. If you absolutely do need to go away, take the baby to f**king some place in England. Like f**king Centre Parcs. Go and f*ck that place up for anyone who doesn't want to hear shrieking for a solid week.

F**k off, essentially.

Cyclists who run red lights, cycle the wrong way down one way streets or wear helmet cameras. You'll be filming the inside of your anus if you so much as breathe near my car.

People who think that British ideals are sancrosanct and respected worldwide.

The constant clamour for Britain to apologise for slavery. The slave trade was abolished in Britain 200 years ago. Why should I apologise for something I played no part in and had no control over? You won't get one from me, deal with it and move on.

ABBA. A distinctly average band that are now treated as demigods. When I once had the temerity to say I couldn't see what all the fuss was about I was told "Well you may as well say you hate gay people". WTF?

Paulparker, it's not just the pub. You can't f**king go anywhere without hearing a f**king piece of shit toddler going mental. Something happened in the last twenty years and now parents are unable to tell a kid to shut the f**k up and now everywhere you go you hear a kid crying for attention and generally ruining the vibe for everyone.

If you've got kids, cool. That's great. But for sure teach it to shut the f**k up.

If I started spazzing out when I was a bairn my mum would kick me in the throat and leave me in the gutter to die.

edit: this was meant to be replied on your "parents on planes" comment.

You'll be pleased to know my, then, 8 month old boy was a dream when we took two flights (each way) in June. Even we were surprised. Apart from a 30 second moment when I thought he was going to let rip he was brilliant. Take off? No problem. In flight 'roar'? no problem. Landing? Asleep!

He's just a few weeks off his 1st birthday and you can be sure both his Mum and I will bring him up to make sure he's not one of 'those' babies/toddler/child than ruins it for everyone else.

I think part of the problem is the law as much as lazy parenting. You can't so much as touch a kid with a feather these days without a bus load of Social Care workers descending on your doorstep. Generations of kids are growing up without any discipline so no wonder people are, rightly, complaining about unruly children.

When he was born I was amazed at the amount of people that come around the first week to check on your baby. Me thinks they're not just checking on the baby, they checking on you. Then when we took him to his designated check-ups's at the hospital, there are signs everywhere saying that abuse to the staff will not be tolerated and others saying not to be offended if you get asked if your baby has been assigned a social care worker.
Now, don't get me wrong I'm all for the protection of the baby, that's an absolute must, but what does all this say about the type of people having kids??

Occasionally that'll happen. The kid will sleep through the flight but that's like me taking a tiger into a cinema and then claiming he's the best tiger in the world because he didn't f**k up someone's face. Is pure luck.

I'd rather people didn't take the chance. Unless you're flying the wee bairn to Florida for life-saving surgery then babies and planes shouldn't mix.

I certainly do think there was an element of luck but he was like this on 4 flights over a 4 week period (2 out, two back) so maybe he is (fingers crossed) OK with planes.
He's great in cars so I'm hoping on the whole he'll be OK. The next flight will be the test especially as he'll be older. It could go either way.

He has relatives where we were going (we stayed with them) and they were seeing him for the first time. I'm sure many people are travelling with kids for the same reason, it's not all costa del Sol.

Was flying to Miami once Bluce about 17 years ago, 1 hour in to the flight we had to turn round and land in manchester as this woman had stupidly taken 2 newborns on to the plane and one had stopped breathing due to the pressure,
not impressed as it caused an 8 hour delay

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

New born's is just plain stupid. I don't know back then but now I think there is a minimum age before they are allowed to fly for those kind of reasons I'd imagine.

I've got 3 kids. The eldest is 6 & the boys are 16 months. I'm not taking them onto a flight until the boys are at least 4 or 5. It would be sh1t for me, my wife & the rest of the flight if one of them kicks off. Luckily i don't have relatives abroad (not one that i speak to anyway)

Refunds/credits. Spent 40 minutes on the phone arguing with BT about £8.50 they had blatantly overcharged me. In the end they agreed to give me a credit off next month's bill. This set me off again. Why can't they put it back into my account after all they've had my money for a month and they are going to keep it for another month. Bloody cheek of it.
Okay, so it's only £8.50 and I better things to do with my life but I wouldn't mind over charging maybe a million customers £8.50, keeping the money in my account for 2 months before giving it back.

Strong and stable my arse.

The ridiculous amount of carnage that happens in other countries. I'm not talking about terror/war stuff but just dumb f**king deaths.

150 people died in a stampede in Saudi. Why? That's just ridiculous.

A fire in a cafe in India, 89 people dead.

A train hits a bunch of people at a crossing in India. If that was England it'd be a maximum of four deaths (if it was a car with four people in it). 58. 59 actually because the survivors dragged the train driver out and beat him to death.

F**k sake. This isn't a game of Lemmings on the Amiga. Stop dying so easily.

EDIT: Over 300 now. Bloody hell.

Organisations which cut back on the paid services they are offering then couch it in terms like: "In order to serve you better...".

This happened with British Gas in my case. My Homecare contract covers both the central heating and the solar panels (which they installed about four years ago). Six months ago, they announced that they would soon no longer be covering the panels, although they positioned this change as a positive thing for their customer. Great work, thanks for that. If you have to stop offering a service, at least do your customer the courtesy of admitting that it is not a positive for them.

453+ now in Saudi.

"Hajj: Previous tragedies
2006: 364 pilgrims die in a crush during the stone-throwing ritual
1997: 343 pilgrims killed and 1,500 injured in fire
1994: 270 killed in stampede
1990: 1,426 pilgrims killed in stampede inside tunnel leading to holy sites
1987: 400 people die as Saudi authorities confront pro-Iranian demonstration"

Not a place to go and visit me thinks.

The numbers of deaths on Hajj are awful, however, when you take into account how many people attend each year it's amazing there aren't more. The Grand Mosque can accommodate 1m worshippers and it is still too small by half!

When I get home, I'm going to check whether my travel insurance covers me against stampedes (cattle, people or other). You can't be too careful.

12 people killed last year taking selfies. More than who got killed by sharks yet we kill them in their millions through nothing other than stupid paranoia and even more stupid things like 'shark fin soup' where the shark drowns after having it's fin hacked off so some cnt can slurp on meaningless soup.

It's a well identified issue that is almost impossible to stop once it starts. In a crowd of that size, once the first person goes over, the rest are pushed over by sheer weight of numbers. The authorities over there have put lots of safety measures in place but it's like trying to stop a supertanker.

Inconsiderate shitter.

We've done the paper over the turd and leave it winker but twice last week somebody in our company shat twice all over the seat...and left it.

A company wide E-mail was sent out that said 'if you are ill go home, dont shat on the bespoke seats'

I work with professional people you would expect better.

If I walk in and identify said person they will be licking it off the seat.
