He's had some nightmare moments this season, but I personally would like to see him stay, he has popped up with a few goals, some of his tackles have been sublime, and I want players with passion in the team. I think he'll have learned from this season and will come back stronger.

I think I may be in a minority, but if you cut out the rolling around and the occasional red mist, there is one hell of a footballer there as well as being a tidy bloke off the field.

And I'm sure Garry doesn't hold a grudge either

"If you ladies leave my island, if you survive recruit training, you will be a weapon. You will be a minister of death praying for war. But until that day you are pukes. You are the lowest form of life on Earth. You are not even human furcking beings! You are nothing but unorganized, grabastic pieces of amphibian sh1t! Because I am hard, you will not like me. But the more you hate me the more you will learn."

It's down to interpretation. I'm sure there's a few referees on here that could highlight the differences between the two, but it's not illegal, it's unsporting.

Taking maximum time to walk off the pitch after being substituted is not illegal, but it is unsporting.

We're not talking about walking off the pitch we're talking about Chico's obvious playacting which is simulation or "an attempt to deceive the referee" which is clearly against the laws of football. There were moments where he was rolling around on the floor in agony only to spring up and get in the face of the opposing manager within a few seconds. Clear as daylight.

Also taking an excessive amount of time to walk off the pitch IS illegal. It comes under time wasting and is a bookable offence. Seen it given a few times actually.

That was clearly an example to highlight the ambiguities between the two terms..

If Chico hadn't have 'play acted' against West Ham then Carroll would have wrongly got away without a red card, blurred lines.

Who's to say what would have happened had he not rolled around on the floor? We don't know. All I saw was a grown man acting like a 5 year old girl.

Quite simply, done too many silly things too often, the latest being his Chelsea red card

Good enough based on ability alone but he can't be trusted unfortunately and at the moment isn't as reliable as Amat who for a young centre back has been superb. Plus Bartley may have what it takes. Wouldn't be sorry to see Chico go if we can get 2-3m for him.

Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

Well that's confirmation. We simply have to keep him.

He might well have had the odd lapse (not counting his play acting), but come on, 2 million? Really?

Don't take that seriously. I think he's in summing mode. Either that or he's just decided the follow the rest of the sheep

Ah the old O'Boogs argument. Everyone who shares the same opinion that contradicts yours must be a narrow-minded sheep, eh?
