The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP on 21:57 - Dec 27 by FredManRave
I was going to put up a few that I'll be listening to tonight but I got stuck on this one.
I'm sure we'd never all agree on a best track and I'm not even suggesting this one is the best. However, I will say it's a great track featuring a great rack.
The best video so far on this never ending thread?!

Fred, Fred, Fred, Fred... what are you doing to me man?
A track I've always loved since I first heard it --- I recounted the tail of Camden Market and hearing this tune many, many pages ago. Now though my memories are shattered. I will ALWAYS now think of this video when hearing that scratch and piano drop. You swine!
And this one is really really leftfield for this evening.... HOOPS! D'ere it is!

When dipping into commercial clubs 88 to 92 one that always comes up when chatting "old times" with my mates is Hombres which was just off Oxford or Regents Street... near Oxford Circus???
Went there loads of times with our lot that didnt like the bass and the bits and pieces and this tune always reminds me of that place.

Florida my old sunshine.... that was seven minutes of musical beauty. I've never seen that before and it was a thing to behold, I would kill to have been in that crowd, even more so if it had been the Royal Albert Hall which is the most acoustic place I've ever been in.
Thank you so much for posting.

LB, I vividly remember a very drunk and trip fuelled night in Copa Cobana's listening to those classics. I ended up at a house party in Perivale and still to this day cannot remember getting in the cab and being at the party! All I do remember was waking up on a couch fully clothed with a girl I didn't even know?!

Was that the days of The Wide Awake Club??
They were great, great nights. I played there twice for Steve, who put the do's on, in warm up slots and loved it as by that time hardly anyone needed warming up!!
Great stuff

I think it was, did he also have the record shop opposite Northfields station?
Like I said a blurry night where I lost 8 hours of my life but I do remember these classics being played.
