The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2356340 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Heard this one on the radio earlier - a top, top tune that Dimtri gave his touch and added some Philly type production to.
It's one of those rare things these days -- a house tune from last 10 years that I still absolutely love. Many are just so disposable*

I'm loving it!

*Edit -- I'm on a low one today, I'll revisit that statement when I'm more "up".... I cant be right!!

Electro was one of my favourite genres for a while, been done a few pages back but always up for more. Be more than happy if it comes up in a few pages time as well !!!!

So if you insist.....

Nice one LBlock I was on one last night and just felt Electro suited the mood lol

Not sure why but this one always reminds me of watching Auf Weidersen Pet and then beating Arsenal away in 83-84 ...

Sorry Brix... I cannot let Electro slide without returning to the softer side and some Brit Electro Funk..
I loved Johnny Rocca's stuff and this one was and is one of my all time fav's

I think this may be the third time I've posted that up.
The video is just so fcukin good and captured some great long summers I had down Bishops Rec in Putney and a few streets in Hanwell
The Choppers, BMX's, ghetto blaster, body popping, spinning on cardboard or lino, some terrible and great fashion and most of all... girls with bright red lippy nad bubble perms or demy wave wet looks!!!!

Signing off with this one

Not sure too much of Jellybean's stuff has been up on this thread?
He did a couple of good remixes -- I think I've got a great Donna Summer track he twiddled with in the vinyl vault somewhere. Must try and drag that out.

Reminds me of the Magnum Force

Your right about IOU - a record I can listen too once a week and it still sounds great :-)
I wonder where the video was filmed, it sort of looks familiar but I can't quite place it...

Oh well not long until Friday !

Reminds me of one of my old chat up lines, "If I could rearrange the alphabet I'd put U and I together.

I used to get my denim jacket alot in those days.

A welcome return to the Lord of The Trance..... I'm sure you can still move like a demon from the waist down while upper torso stays rigidly motionless!!!

So it's Friday. I just had some alright news from the Doctor and it's an away day to Brum tomorrow. What's not to like?

Loving the Odyssey track.

"Don't Tell Me Tell Her 12inch" would be a great name for a transgender group.

Pleased you got good news from the Quack LB. Hopefully you'll have a Ramsey smile after the Birmingham game!
