The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2321505 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Lovely track

Sure Chops & Abigail played that the other day on their show

It is a great track.
One of only a handful of CD singles I own which makes a change from our classic I've got that on vinyl.

This is one of the others

Once Lblock has used the time machine can he lend it here
Would love to go back to 94, the peak years of US house ,
I was 20 years old, living in a world of Girls fm, Pure fm , bagleys, MOS , Leisure lounge, the Loft
Gardening club, Tenerife, Bobby’s bar , paradise club
I miss them days

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

The album that’s on was a cracker too. Gave it a play recently and it stands up pretty well.

A DJ least likely to get in your face... He's 4'10" .

Im kidding. He's a top fella and dj. I cant talk much in the height department either lol

Great tune btw. Before Bicep became the new Daft Punk.

You could add Legends on a Thursday night to that list PP, that was a nice little warm up for the weekend. Me and my mates often say what we would give to go back to have one more night out from the proper days! But in all honesty it would fill me with dread!
So glad we got in at the right time and had an amazing 5/6 years.

Those days around Shaftsbury Avenue you couldn't move for like minded "ravers"

Not sure if Steve has fully recovered from COVID? I know he had it bad, hope he's all good.

Groove Odyssey was fantastic..... Zoo good for you... said zoo good for you

Ha ha Zoo good for you indeed. Friday night 22.00-00.00 kiss fm. Still got some tapes lying about somewhere...
Not to sure how he is now, last I heard Bobby popped up on GMB talking to Kate Garraway about it all, it seems Steve is in the same condition as Kates old fella. Hopefully he has improved since then.

Yeah forgot about legends, Great place and a good crowd , satellite at SW1 was another goodun , cafe de Paris , and Barumba were also on the list , cracking days
A couple of months back a mate sent some pictures to me of all of us in leisure lounge pilled off our heads , god knows who bought a Kodak camera out then

Legends was probably my favourite venue at the time. Always busy but a decent door policy and nice crowd. Usually did Fridays there as i couldn't start on Thursday due to work!

this track always reminds me of there

Legends was the gaff with the chill out pod you climbed a ladder to wasn't it?

I know I went there quite a few times but the old grey matter is allowing all those places to merge into one. I can't distinguish between most of those places anymore....... maybe it was The WAG... could've been Malibu Stacey's at Hanover Grand but don't think so????

ha ha the door policy was a bit to decent, on my 21st me and my mates were turned away, which looking back on it now they were well within their rights! I think we may of started a bit earlier that day and by the time we got there we all needed wheelbarrows for our jaws.....
