Sums up everything.
The backdrop to this rave (which I'm gutted I wasn't at) is a story in itself. It didn't get off the ground until about 4:00am and involved lots of dodging around the M25 and heading out M11 etc. A fundraiser to the victims of the Marchioness disaster. Evil Eddie Richards on the decks. Faces from all over the South East.

Really hope after this year of complete and utter shizen the music scene inspired by these events of 30 years ago explodes again and good times and laughter the underpin of it all.

I remember being delirious with chicken pox at 18 , sweating my plagued bollocks off under the 15 tog eiderdown at home on East Ham Daves battered chesterfield at 3am listening to Chrs Vincent playng this.
I knew one thing.. i had to get up in the morning and buy this record. I swept my fringe away from eyes and broke half a dozen chicken pox blisters, then got on the tube from East Ham to Tottenham court road in delirium to buy.....
