The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2356362 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Right; that's my birthday sorted.

Part 1 Shepherd's Bush Empire a week today for some Incognito and Carleen Aderson.

Part two Normay Jay's Good Times in the Park in September with the man himself, Shaka Kahn, the Brand New Heavies; Terry Farley, Jazzie B and Goldie.

My 50th birthday mixed with live music, soul/funk/house DJ's and with a little house set at home culled from the Frankie thread. Perfect.

PS I know this is a spackman, just loving a bit of 90's jazzy soul this morning.

I've been away for a week recovering from last weekend.

Another Incognito track, brilliant for a Sunday, going out to the Frankie boys coming up at the end lol

L Block the daddy of the thread....hope your health issues are all sorted mate and your raring to go for next season !

Croydon - very late in coming back , I haven't heard Karl Hydes solo stuff but really enjoyed the Underworld stuff for the Olympics. Underworld are playing the Royal festival hall in October

http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whatson/underworld-85655?utm_source=wordfly&utm

Weskberks, Nice one re Willie Colon. Ha Ha re the Roy Ayers concert. I'm the same if I like it I'll dance and fck everyone else. Mrs Weskberks should have been proud that she was there with a arbiter of style. I've never seen Roy Ayers live but would love to go - its on my to do list.

Londonscottish - Love the Avatar mate

Paul Parker and Disco - Keep up the good work lads

Everyone else keep it going.

PLUR WE ARE QPR !

If I've not put this up yet then shame on me.

Absolutely love the Pettibone Remix of 82 but this Full Intention lick of a bit of classic SalSoul pays homage whilst giving a nice up to date dance floor pumpy bass.
We all like a love break... just dont tell the missus!

PS If anyone has a vinyl copy they'd like to sell for a kings ransom then let me know
