Going a bit off piste here but heard these two oldies the other day and they reminded me of my younger days. Big collard shirts, tank tops and flared checkered trousers which none of the colour's matched the outfit as it didn't matter as it was the 70's!

Club UK track written all over it, had many a good night there back in the day.
Great tune
Me & Brixton aka acid pixie were talking about club uk only the other day Great place that turned moody within 18 months, saw some funny stuff in there and had some great nights when they had happy house or handbag house I
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

You're right mate, started off well but went down hill rapidly to the point of it struggling to pull in a crowd. From what I heard the council never really wanted them and did their utmost to close it down.

A mate of mine played there one night when they had an extended night that went on until 8am. He was playing the last two hours in one of the rooms, so we got some kip then got up at 4am and headed down there. As you can imagine, it was carnage in there at 5 in the morning. I managed to find the controls for the smoke machine, so filled the entire room with smoke, which added to the chaos. When the lights finally came up at 8am and the smoke had cleared, the dance floor resembled a scene from day of the dead
