What a tune!!!
Still have my copy of that - it’s “acquired” from an ex girlfriend who allowed me to borrow some vinyl for a party I was playing at then she left me a couple of weeks later. I think I got the better end of the deal –- lost a love but a few quality 12 inch vinyl classics gained!!!
This was a great track though, Lisa Stansfields vocals were top class back then

I knew it you old rascal
When I posted mine up I will confess to viewing a few of their other early numbers to delight in the wonders of Corriene. She’s actually held up well and still a looker now to my eye
Cheers though Brixo; absolutely love this track

Been revisiting a lot of Motown lately.
Great era
One of the highlights of my very uneventful and dull life was seeing Smokey Robinson live at Wynns / Paris Hotel in Las Vegas the day before NYE. What a showman. Then… to my absolute amazement and child like adulation…20 mins after the show finished the whole show descended on the same hotel bar we were in. It was like nobody noticed them apart from me and my mate Del. Bought the bass player a drink and had a chat.

Well that certainly blew the place up!!!
It bad gear, though not my go to genre these days………do miss the old school vinyl classics late night shows though!!
The Alpha Wave one really reminded me of the Ragga Twins back in the old REINFORCED record label days
Ha ha.. Kicked the doors down with those tracks.
I nearly posted a Ragga twin track on Reinforced as well . Great label . Ive been listening to a lot of old UK break beat stuff recently . That link of UK Hip Hop rolling into breakbeat rave was a natural transition.
Occasional providers of half decent House music.
