The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP on 11:33 - Mar 4 by Bluce_Ree
Keith Flint of The Prodigy dead at 49. That's rough.
He was never making it to old age though but it's a sad day for sure.
53mins in when he's dressed like Altern-8. My fave Flinty thing ever.
Gutted by this. A massive character from the rave scene. Liam Howlett is the musical genius behind it all but keith flint gave them the energy and the attitude. He's going to be missed
Love this tune and video with them doing the running man all over the gaff.. What a time!
RIP Keith Flint

along with 'Poison' My favourite Prodigy Track 'Narayan'
For what it's worth, the Arabic Female Howling from 3 minutes in 'Smack my bitch up' must be one of the greatest Moments in Dance music history. If your've been on the floor dancing to this on the Mcky Mills, you'll will know what i mean.
Moments in Love. Fantastical.

Fat of the Land is their best album probably.
I havnt heard Jilted generation for years. Reminds me when i was staying up for days on end just doing speed and playing the sega megadrive. Had the album on cassette tape.

Heard this on the wireless the other day.... hadn't listened to this version for a fair while. Thought it might be apt for International Womens Day (as LoftBoys earlier thread got deleted )

remember Fire starter being played at a Ministry members party; raised the roof with an already happy crowd. Sorely missed; one of the best live gigs i've been too just for the energy at atmosphere.

So that's me done for the week.... will be sinking into some Guinness in a short while ahead of a trip to W12 yesterday where that's the only thing to look forward to (the drink not the footy).
The weekend has landed
