And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

A bit random but for some reason this tune to me was always the kind of tipping point between Soul and the impending acid house explosion.......plus its 30 years ago (bloody hell!!!)
Have a great Christmas and best wishes for 2019 PLUR

not a massive fan of the vocals on this but the quirky off-beat piano mixed with drum and bass is nice.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

... have you ever spent all day trying to remember the name of an obscure B-side, like wrestling with an itch, putting off stacks of marking to trawl through Discogs, only to eventually find the fcker. I've been wandering around work muttering the lyrics to the breakdown at 3.30 all day. "I'll fck you up".

Is it Snoop Dog? A lot of samples on that West Coast / hip-house stuff were taken off US hip-hop tracks. This was a much more widely played track by Jay-J, with another hip-hop vocal sample. Cool tune.

There was a cool dubby version of it on the B side if i recall, called Club 2 Club I think. There was also a tune by Jay J and Chris Lum on the same label called something like Freaks Like Us that got a fair bit of play when it came out.
