To me this still sounds like last week....proper contemporary...love it. Respect to you all, good to see Rangers being a bit proper. Good to see the Frankie boys moving forward. Respect lads.
To me, and in my opinion which I know is very subjective, But From about 0.32 to 3.17 it's one of the most complete bits of house music to date .
Total tune....Proper quality sound like a proper 12''love it.....

On the vibe today and all geared up the for our daughters 18th party this weekend , scary times
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Proper old school tune which hasn’t been put up yet , one if the first tracks that started to get me away from hardcore

Remember picking this up out of lucky spin records some 26 years ago , it only feels like yesterday God it was so much better then

My favourite trance track ever. Sublime moments around 3:28 and 6:38 as Merv injects a rolling wave of chill-out into the pounding beat.
Out of nowhere, quirky drum 'n' bass noodlings unexpectedly dissolve into ethereal trip-hop...and hey, is that sample a bullfrog? Who knows?

Eat Static! Man that's a blast from the past! Just gone on a trip down memory lane listening to the Abduction album, I could almost smell the incense. As an impressionable 15 year old when it came out, that album, well, made an impression. "We're not dropping out here, we're infiltrating and taking over"

Not really in keeping with the house vibe but whatever.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

I'll admit they have been around for ages but "they" - well, Merv Pepler because it's just him now - are still active and a new album (sample below) recently arrived on earth from some distant exoplanet.
I bought their "B World" album from the excellent Raves from the Grave record shop in Frome and buying an Eat Static CD from Merv's terrestrial home (Frome) was more pilgrimage than shopping trip .
God bless John Peel (RIP) for playing them on his show all those years ago.
