The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2356188 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Fear not my Frankie Friday Friends!

As I understand it there has been a change on LFW this week whereby instead of 25 posts per page page there are now 40 posts per page. No idea why as it's a tech issue and I'm just an OCD number cruncher and spreadsheet compiler. So the actual number of posts haven´t been reduced it's just that now 40 stomping house choons occupy one page instead of the 25 previously.

As I mentioned on another thread, Clive wouldn't dare mess with this thread. Can you imagine the grief the 8 of us would give him!

So what with this good news and yesterdays, not just result, but performance and the fact it's Friday;

Happy days.
I should have looked at page one to confirm.
If I am hones I am still a bit gutted that I missed out on the first tune by a couple of minutes on this epic thread. That Julian Jonah track is a cracker.

I could almost get used to Thursday night football if we play like that every time.
Lets hope Ollie is turning our team into a tough little unit ...

Just logged in to see we won 1-0 but more importantly played well 😀😀😀😀

Love that Taylor Dayne tune got the 12''' cd single somewhere.

Been in Tamarindo (Costa Rica) since NYD and not been able to open the Frankie thread till now so the LFW tech boys have done a good job and glad to see all pages still here 😀

Any other Rs here come and say hello I'm the one who looks hungover to fck with the We Are QPR towel classy lol
Was teaching my girlfriend about House music last night so was listening to this she's massively into Psy trance but couldn't believe this came out in 1986/87 - sorry for the spack but what a tune.........she fell asleep somewhere around KlF Whst time is liove so I had to go out alone and spend the night talking hillocks to Septics. Hence hangover from hell and talking extended nonsense on here.....

Sorry Fred I'd have loved to come to Argentina on this trip but plane fares and costs are Already astronomical with the time of year and the massively falling £ think I will have to crowd fund this holiday lol Reckon there's more than 9 of us mate good to see a couple of stormer from FDC, even Clive gave a check to Ebeneezer Goode when EZ E played !!! Reckon our influence is permeating even the higher echelons 😉 Incidently Wouldn't it be good if the LFW Frankie Thread sponsered an article of EZE kit it'd look wicked in the program lol
Ok Gotta be done.....

Good club here called El Garito they've just moved to a new outdoor venue and its wicked they have a percussionist so every record sounds like this..... I'm not complaining !

We got here and found a free 4 day house / techno festival called a OCASO all within 15 minutes of us and free...was wicked. Would have cost £200+ in the U.K. but was free I'd recommend it to anyone thinking of coming next year

wins out of 3 (FA CUP nonsense don't count) since I've been here maybe I should stay ! Unfortunately back to reality after the Foolham game ☹️☹️☹️

Yes I love those early Warp releases. The Coco was Chris Coco who is still doing stuff. Mainly chillout.

Yeh rinsed that "Feel it" tune. Had that slightly spooky feel you can get when coming up.

Yeah he's got a show on Mixcloud called Melodica, it's excellent for balearic, blissed out downtempo stuff.

As you boys have said great label, breaks, bass and bleeps at it's best.

Couple of favourites from back in the day.
