The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2518777 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Everytime I hear those opening chords I am taken back to a do called "HYPE" on the outskirts of Portsmouth.

I've waxed on about that on hear before.

Seminal track

One of my favourite albums of the early House era was Sterling Voids It's Alright. Literally every track is a House piano banger.

I've set aside 5.15pm to 6.430pm for the next few days in my work diary to go through the vinyl, have a mix up and maybe put a set together....... be warned FB's!!!!!

Already uncovered a few old gems (see below) but... to my eternal shame... my vinyl is in a terrible state.
More snaps, crackles and pops than a fire in a Kellogs factory.
Gtted but to be expected after two decades doing parties and getting into a few mangles states myself.

Here's one that dropped into my hands I had forgotten all about... not "Into the Night" which was her BIG track but this little one which borders on a bit of Ital House.

Opinions?
