The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP on 21:00 - Oct 22 by Lblock
Going early with another random dip.
First up
Great label Positiva
That's freaky. That track came up on a youtube mix I was listening to this afternoon and was gonna post it as it's a classic I hadn't heard in a while.

And my choon of the year! Takes me all the way to manbag station!
And yes I'm well aware it's a Schofield!
Much the same as Shades of Rhythm for me...... you can never post a good track up too many times!
The original was an absolute monster track for me and the cover of it instantly recognisable with the fella in the biker boots etc. This remix is fantastic
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I've decided to uncover my LP90 boxes I used to take out with me when doing partys (the last one of which I believe W13R was actually at) and do some random dips into those.
Starting off with my Black Box which usually contained "non-house" stuff and things with a more soul type tip.
The first random three of the day (there'll be a few today I hope) kicks off with this:-

The second one that I dipped out as below (Forgot how rummaging through a tightly packed box can play havoc with the cuticles on my wimpy office wallah hands)
This one I remember buying after seeing Judge Jules cut it up at The Cross in Kings Cross and it got the place going massively. He laid it over a big old bassline and was trimming the speakers around the room. Fantastic
Bongo Steve may enjoy it.........

Surprised and delighted to see a Clash track on here mate. Nice one.
My favourite Clash reggae track is probably this from the same album coincidentally.

Third one from my black box.........
Memories of The Gin Palace in Acton.
Lovely choon.
Also going waaaaay back;
Also am massive BNH fan. What do you make of this remix LB? Only just heard it. Quite like it as it's not deviated too much from the original which can often be a mistake imo.

Love it - never heard that G so thanks for opening my ears to that one.
You'll never beat N'dea Davenport for the vocal but that is damn good.
As for the Fatback & Joyce tracks -- HUGE!
