I suspect it’s just me, but every time I see “Uncle Tony” in relation to TF, I think of a bloke — probably in the 1970’s — handing out sweets or comics in exchange for “special cuddles” on a soiled mattress. But like I say, that could just be me.

I don't take the term literally. I think it's more of an Uncle-through-marriage kind of set up. Which is handy, because that way we're not obliged to send him birthday cards, or to loan him money.
