I think Keane should be given another go up front today, and then bring on Bobby late on.

I would like to see Dellatorre get on the bench after scoring a few goals for the U21. Doubt it though.

Benayoun & Krancjar over Hoilett & Petrasso is mindboggling. 'Very 'ard, no penetration'..

I like the combination of Barton, Krancjar and Morrison. I think there is enough in those three to dominate the middle and create lots of chances. Add Carrol's energy and that is a strong core. Obviously the lack of width could be a problem and who knows how the defence will gel, but overall its an interesting line-up. Would've preferred to see Hoilett in there than Benny, TBH. I've not noticed anything special from Benny yet, but who knows.

More likely Carroll and barton in CM.

Very lightweight, could be outmuscled all over the pitch.

Doubt it, You will have Carroll sitting back next to Barton, Benayoun right, Morrison in the middle and Krancjar on the left is most likely IMO.

swp - where are you? do you even bother to show up for matches or is this another day off? what these type of players are doing is essentially stealing from the club. I was on a contract with the government and found that many days each week i had nothing, absolutley nothing to do eventually leaving for my own sanity and integrity....what ever happened to love of the game and ethics?

I like Tom Carroll. Happy to accept I'm in a minority. I like what he TRIES to do - I genuinely think he often gets caught in possession due to lack of team mates on the same wavelength. Those surrounding him today have the pedigree, in theory, to be on the same wavelength (though there are plenty of other areas in which what they bring to the party could be questioned).

But the treatment of LTC for me sums up our problem - Arry's CONSTANT tinkering with formation / style / starting players / bench...and the additional knots he's tied himself in with the 8 loanees. One week he's starting, the next on the bench, the next not in the 18.

The contrast with Leicester, Burnley, and our own 2010-11 side is so clear - get a formula, stick to it, replace like with like when necessary
