I said when we were starting those 'pop' threads for Bardiff and Bristol City that it would come back and haunt us. Well we are well and truly popping.
Apart from the 4 injuries our problems stem from playing 4-4-2 I reckon. We just don't look as solid and look way more open without creating much up front.
Go back to 4-2-3-1 with Morrison behind Doyle, Hoilett and Traore out wide and Barton and Henry as the midfield 2 and we might have a chance of drawing our way into the play-offs. But after today I reckon our confidence is shot and we'll be lucky to finish 6th. |  | | |

Harry Redknapp is never going to win games with strategy but he must have learnt that Kranjcar is no longer a midfield player who can have a defensive responsibilities. I don't think NK involved enough to play in the hole, so the arrival of Morrisson is a good thing.
We only have Notts Forest and Leicester of the Unbeatables to play, so why can't we be the worse side to get promotion since Derby a few years ago.

My prediction at start of the season was 6th and I think that now looks quite a good bet.

We;ve had little core since Warnock and as a club ethose probably not since Holloways day (manager) at best. General ethose for year was survive day by day or since 2007 through money at things with little thought or plan beyond the season.
Arguably Tony is doing longer term stuff but still trying to rush things on the pitch without preparing a blueprint for how to run the club and its core business. | | | |

The problem I have with today is that all the good that came with the Burnley game seems to have melted away within a few weeks. That today was an unacceptable result. Utter ridiculous. Not happy. Was prepared to give Harry the benefit of the doubt, but increasingly unconvinced that he is really delivering. Any backroom team replacing Mclaren with Wally Downes is not exactly showing progress and the lack of bringing in youngsters whi are showing promise, in favour of pile of crocks is now just not funny.
